I recently strained some muscles in my mid back area after trying a new exercise. Trying to apply some anti inflamatory Diclofenac gel to the area was very difficult because it was just out of reach. I decided to get a lotion applicator. Researching the various applicators I decided I wanted something with a rigid handle so I could apply maximum pressure to the area. I was wary of plastic handles so I decided on the 𝗩𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 because of the 𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲. The included non absorbent (4) pads work well, are easy to clean off after using + I appreciated the little cloth bag to put over the pad when not using. For me the 𝗩𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 was a perfect solution. Within two days the significant pain and stiffness in my mid back area was gone. Now I use a different pad to apply moisturizing lotion to my back after a shower....easy peazy.

I got this to apply cocoa butter to my back after I got a sunburn because I didn't like the way my partner did it lol I'm impressed with how well it did with applying the butter since the butter I use is hard before it has a chance to melt on your skin. I just kind of smooshed the butter onto the pad and it stayed on the pad just fine while I applied it. However, after using it I feel like the design isn't thoroughly thought through. There isn't much curve to the handle which makes it hard to reach certain places, I had to do a lot of switching up angles, hands, ect. to get into all the contours of my back. It took some effort. I also feel like the pad shape and material is less than ideal. The foam didn't absorb any butter but it felt like it just smeared it around and it took a lot of finesse to get it rubbed in well. Maybe if it was made of a more rubbery texture it would work better, I'm not sure. The pad also seemed like it could be better a shape. I wonder about it have an articulating head joint or a more bendable material to help getting in some hard to reach spots. I'm not sure what could be done to improve this product but I do know it was a little difficult to use. Maybe it just takes practice. All in all, it got the job done, my back is moisturized, my sunburn is less itchy, and I'm satisfied. I might look for different style products similar to this one in the future but for now I'm happy and going to stick with it!

Glad that I bought this. Now I can apply the lotion on my back easily. The product is well made. It was well packed. Came with 4 applicator and the hook to hang it. Pads are washebale is plus. It would be nice if they provided plastic bags for the applicator. I am just using the ziplock bag. I hope Amazon stop selling product below 3 star.

I have very dry skin especially in winter. I live in a dry climate, which makes it worse. This allows me to put lotion on my back instead of putting up with dry, itchy skin. I like the wooden handle and the sponge applicator. My previous one had a plastic head that contained the lotion, which cracked after only a few months and completely came apart. This one is much easier to use and to clean. Very nice!
