I tried it on and it's so so. I was kinda expecting it to be matte black but it's more so shiny black . I didn't look at the pictures close enough but if thats yall thing then go for it. On top of it being shiny black, it's a little see through on the top area. Now nobody ever puts in their actual measurement but im a 38DD with 38 waist 43 high hip and hip. I got hips dips and a rectangle body shape. I got a Size Large and Currently weight between 200 and 209. It fluctuates. It's form fitting so it made my hip dips stand out. And you could see the outline of the underwear. Oh material wise it's not thick. Like it's very light. Maybe if you're top heavy I suggest wearing a strapless bra or nipples covers.

Ordered this just to have a plain black number and it is comfortable and very flattering. Ordered my usual size small (fit well), and the material is stretchy enough that it doesn’t cling uncomfortably. Seems to be made well. The only issue is that the mermaid shape is a little too formal for some of my events while the material is a little too casual. I haven’t given up on it yet! I will find an occasion to wear it

I was not a huge fan of this dress. 1) the straps are not adjustable. 2) the material felt cheap to me. It felt like biker shorts or bathing suit material. However the length was perfect. I am 4”11 and I got the petite xs. It hugged my body nicely. But the straps were too loose. I ordered it in black and I was not transparent at all.
