These pads are as described. They go on easy with almost no effort - as long as the width of bottom of chair leg is close to 1 inch and a half. They are soft on the bottom and reduce the friction between chair legs and floor , however ; they are not for outside use. My chair is on my deck. I have iron chairs that rub against the painted deck , making unwanted marks on the wood as I get up and move chair back. These work really well and now the chair glides back. The only question is : how will rain affect these.....

I have 6 kitchen chairs that I have nailed felt floor protectors for almost over and over again 20 years. I was attracted to the RUBY SLIDERS and found that they were too large (width) for my chairs. They kept coming off. Rubber bands helped but I'd soon need bands for 24 legs. I decided to look for an alternative and found these. The opportunity to go smaller over a short part of the leg appeared to be an opportunity for a better fit. The fit was tight, but easy to apply to the legs. So far, movement across ceramic tiles has had no effect. They stay on. I am very pleased with the outcome. I'm tired of nailing a felt pad that gets destroyed as it glides across the tiles. Tired of loose fitting Ruby Sliders. Relieved that I have protectors that remain on the tips of my chair legs. Two (2) months later. Every cover has remained in place with NO ADJUSTMENTS. All six chairs, all 24 legs. They work. So if the large sliders fall off your chair legs, PLEASE TRY THESE SMALLER ONES.

Perfectly fit both the round & square legs on my chairs & went on easily. No rips & chairs glide nicely on the floor. Now I just need to order some larger ones for the square table legs. Will update review if anything changes. So far I'm pleased with my purchase & would highly recommend.

I tried using the stick on felt pads to our chair legs and tray tables, but they would fall off or make the tray tables wobble too much after we replaced carpet with vinyl and these pulled right on, stay in place and keep the wood off of the vinyl.

Every thing exceeded my expectation. I used four on a chair worked great but actually purchased them for a completely different project and they worked great on it as well. I will purchace them again at a later date
