It takes a bit to see the pattern needed but starting at the bottom pieces (a rubber mallet really helps with those pieces) but once you get it, it is amazingly smooth to construct. Nice that they include a couple of support pieces - I'll use those for the top on either side and use tie wraps with screw mounts for the bottom pieces that are along the wood molding. I used 3 shelves on either end and two shelves with the cross arm for a 4th hanger rod in the center up towards the middle to make the structure as stable as possible. Functionality in the long run needs as stable a build as possible. This is solid, secure, good looking, very functional and for me a great value. ... show more

This is such a great option for ADHD ppl who need to be able to SEE your items due to object permanance issues. They are suuuuper sturdy, I love that the shelf heights and arrangement is completely customizable. We got this for 2 ppl's worth of favorite items to remember to wear (and extra storage needed). We each have a shirt length section, dress length section, a hat area, and then we have a bunch of bedding and pillows stored on top. I also bought the extra S hooks for purses and winter hats down the sides. Amazing to actually be able to use the square footage to the maximum efficiency, so much more than what a dresser or closet usually has to offer. I would recommend this for other uses as well, including plants, outdoor storage, exercise items. You could also potentially hang clear over-the-door shoe pocket racks or spice racks on the sides for additional items. ... show more

My adult daughter moved back in and we needed to move her into a room that doesn't have a regular closet. We purchased this, and it works nearly perfectly. It was easy to install and holds a lot of clothing and shoes. The only issue is that two of the legs would not tighten, making it s tad unstable until we put in the shelves. Since the other two legs tighten securely this seems like a quality control issue and not a design issue. Overall it has served its purpose and is meeting our needs well ... show more

It is easy to put together once you have done one. I have ordered several of these to replace all closet organizers that no longer work. Be careful when measuring your closet because there is no way of adjusting the width. I like the fact that you can move the shelves around And they are definitely cheaper than buying units from the local home improvement store. Also, make sure that you use the strap to attach it to the wall or if a child falls on it it can fall forward. Good product. ... show more
