One person can put it together but it would have been easier with two people. make sure you place your shelves evenly (which is where the extra person comes in handy) Total time to assemble was an hour. do your parts check and lay out everything before you start and it will go fast! Take the time to read the directions, they were fairly clear. The one I got is rated to hold 600 lbs and it fits all of my needs for storage and organization with room for more clothes!
