The unit was listed as 80" tall so I expected 36" of usable space on each row for adult size clothes. Alas, one row was only 33". I expected 1" vertical bars since it was listed as heavy duty, but these were the smaller 19mm size. The wire shelves were bent similar to other reviews. It was easy to assemble, just position the clips, gently position the shelf, and tap it into place with the rubber mallet. After two days, I'm still waiting for the protective cover. I would recommend this clothing rack for one row of mens clothing, but the second row will only fit clothing for women or children. It is solid, but not my definition of heavy duty. I got the VIPEK V12C, which is the one with just two clothes racks - it's sturdy, I love it, a great deal, I've filled both rack with fabric (as I'm a sewist) and I can tell that I can add more if I want and it will hold it without any problem. Previously I had bought a two tier rack from the Container Store which supposedly held 150 lbs but collapsed, twisted & almost cracked my TV! This VIPEK rack is night and day - excellent. I also decided to buy the cover which was only slightly more $ and is a great add on, easy to put on & zip, good quality. It will be nice for when I want to hide the insides. The product also came with 2 hanging attachments, 4 hooks each which I wasn't expecting. I also was easily able to message PartsSquare cuz I wanted legs instead of wheels & they wrote me back immediately and sent me some. Highly recommend. ... show more

While this is a decent portable closet and has served my daughter well for the past year, which honestly is above and beyond what anything should be subjected to, it recently was broken during a move (movers forced it through a door it didn't fit under). This caused two of the clips to break, and regrettably the move damage deductible wouldn't cover it... I reached out to the manufacturer and within 3 days I had replacement clips.
