First time Ive ever bought shoes without trying them on first, but they fit perfectly and so darn comfortable. I got them yesterday morning and I wore them to work. All i do is walk for 8 hrs, and these were comfortable the whole time, right from Day 1, and also today, the same. So I'm truly thrilled. My last Vionics i got new at Goodwill for $20 and when they wore out i decided to buy a new pair cos they were such good shoes and i have foot problems. i was nervous to spend so much $ online w/o even trying them on, but i can say I am Very Happy. 1. This shoe has no tongue, so it's not easy to get your foot in. Great if you want the tie look, but want a slip on. 2. I am slightly smaller than a size 8. If my foot was a true 8, I'd need to go up 1/2 a size Other than that, a light comfortable shoe with good arch support.

These shoes don't have tongues, so you just slip your foot into the opening, which, luckily, fits my foot and ankle. I have size 11 feet, wide width and sturdy ankles. Even skinny, I have sturdy ankles! Love Vionics for their arch support. Their flip flops are wonderful! They're the only brand that helped me overcome plantar fasciitis in my right foot. The first time I wore their $70 flip flops, I could feel the "crunchies" in my arch. After a few weeks, my arches were restored and no more crunchies. Total life changer. Hoping these sneakers help me, too. Once the snow ceases, I'm going to start walking again.

I was skeptical about Vionic but my sister was so adamant about how much she loved her Vionics so I gave them a try. This is my 5th pair now and still very satisfied. I have a cafe and am on my feet all day, often 12 hours a day, 7 days. My feet were a mess until I got my Vionics. These sneakers are great. You can slip them on & off without bothering with the laces. And they don't slip off. My arches and instep are perfectly pain free. Got the Almas in two colors so I can wear them with anything. Glad I did!

The neoprene that takes the place of the "tongue" made it difficult to slide my foot into the shoe with socks so I chose to wear them without. However, slippage on the right shoe caused a heel blister. The comfort for my metatarsalgia foot was worth the inconvenience. The eye loop has pulled out making it difficult to tighten the shoe at the top. I have ordered and wear Vionics exclusively since my ankle surgery and metatarsal problem. The arch support is perfect so I will just shuffle around in these shoes like they are bedroom slippers!

My most comfortable pair of walking shoes. I wear these to work as often as I can, even with skirts, and on those days my feet and I are happy all day long. Who knew foot discomfort affects one's mood so much?! Get these shoes and make the world a better place for everyone, especially the people in your life! (Sorta kidding!) What you should know: I am not overweight, I don't have plantar fasciitis, and I don't have joint issues. If you do, these may not be the shoes for you. The tongue is integral to the shoe, so putting the shoes on and lacing up the shoe laces requires you to bend down and apply some finger dexterity (that is, if you have arthritis this will be a real chore).

The shoes fit well, except they are very tight to put on; I had to struggle to get my foot in. Once on, very comfortable, 8W fit well. HOWEVER, after a single wearing the eyelet on one of the shoes ripped out when I was tying it up - no way to fix. Returning - I expect a more durable shoe for $106. Vionics shoes are usually pretty good quality, so disappointed and will select another style.

Love the shoe design and the arch support but did not like the oddly engineered laces as they can’t be pulled tightly. Maybe this was meant to be this way but I felt as if the top of the shoe was too loose over a short period of wearing them. I don’t think the size was an issue as they fit well.
