I should have trusted the reviews and read closer. First the shoe quality is exactly what I expected from Vionics. Well made, comfortable and like the design. Next, they are true to size but I ordered up 1/2 size. Don’t do that. I have worn this brand for years and have always worn 9W because my feet swell. I ordered 9 1/2W and although they fit they do slip in the heel. I’m going to keep them but a 9W is perfect. I guess I’ll try extra insoles to make them fit better and wear socks in winter. Overall I bought the denim and snakeskin look and I am pleased. Vionics are my favorite brand and thier shoes love your feet plus they are highly recommended by podiatrist. ... show more

I always wear Vionic shoes because they have a good arch support and are very comfortable. These are made very well with nice quality leather. The only thing is that these shoes run a half size too big. I have many pairs of Vionic shoes, and I’ve noticed that some styles may run a little larger than others. These are the only pair in which I had to buy a half size smaller. I have RA, and I have to wear wide shoes, but these seem to be narrower in the toe box than some other styles. I waited a month before leaving a review. How can you really review shoes like this without wearing them for some time. Very cute summer shoes gave me plantar fasciitis in one foot, which caused massive hip and knee issues in the opposite leg. It has not been a good winter! I saw these in an article about shoes that help with plantar fasciitis pain, so I purchased these, as well as a pair of Vionic slippers. In the month I've been wearing both (I loved the slippers so much, I bought a second pair for work), I can honestly say I am seeing a HUGE improvement with the pain in my foot. Yes, the end of the day is still sore, but nothing like it was. I am so happy with this purchase. I will say, the inside is a bit harder than I like, but I put a cushion into the shoe that was sore and it helped. The shoe would be perfect if it had a more cushioned inner sole, but, with all the improvement I've seen, it's a small complaint. For the money, they are a great purchase, since I would have paid double or triple from an orthopedic store. I'm already looking at Vionic summer sandals ... show more

If you need a wide toe box, these sneakers are not for you. I wear 9 1/2 wide for years. They fit very snug w/o socks. I returned them & ordered a size 10 wide. They are too big length wise but the toe box is still too tight. I am returning them too. I just purchased another pair of vionic sneakers in a 9 1/2 wide & they are perfect ... show more

At first I thought would be too clunky and look oversized when on. Wrong! Super comfy and supportive. Easy to walk in. I didn’t need to break them in even tho I thought for sure they would need it. Run 1/2 size large, just as reviewers stated. Am usually a solid 8 but ordered 7-1/2. Perfect fit. Have a narrow heel so usually need a strap or tie. Adorable upgrade to standard sneakers. A little loose on the ankle but with thicker socks it’s just fine. Can wear them all day and are super comfy and stylish.
