I recently in last month started having plantar fasciitis, back, hip, knee and ankle pain because I didn’t have the right arch support. These sneakers are a game changer. No more pain after just 1 week of wearing them everyday when I go for my morning walks. I never want to take them off. I also not some slip on sandals from this brand and they are helping as well. Length wise not the same as most of this brands shoes. I had to return the size I normally wear & am going to reorder an entire size up. This would be my 5th pair of Vionic shoes, and the only pair that is too short.

I got these after reading several reviews from other former dancers recommending them figuring these might have the arch support I was looking for, and they do! Plenty of other shoes claimed to have arch support, but the shoe wouldn't even touch my arch, much less support it. I usually have to resort to inserts, which have a tendency to slide around. But with these shoes, there's plenty of built in support. I feel it on my arch. It also has some support on the sides of the foot. However... the rest of the shoe feels like a $20 pair of walmart shoes. When I first wore them, they reminded me of cardboard. After wearing them regularly, the material isn't as stiff or unpleasant, but it still feels cheap. There's also no cushion in these shoes, especially under the toes. It really is a bit like having nothing but cardboard between the ball of my foot/toes and the ground. Are sure they didn't just cover cardboard with some plasticy fabric and call it a shoe?? No. Am I confident these will last more than a year, definitely not. Still, the excellent arch support made these shoes worth keeping for me. It's the ONLY thing that made these shoes worth keeping though. I'm not sure I'd buy them again unless they were on sale. ... show more

I am very disappointed in this shoe. Everything was great until 5 months in where it suddenly started showing wear from the inside. I never had a shoe do this before. This shoe was expensive and cheaply made.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve had. I have a wide foot with a high instep. I also have arthritis sneaking in my foot. The shoe supports the arch and is wide enough. They are not bulky so I don’t feel like a clod hopper when wearing them. Definitely worth the price.
