I purchased these sneakers for a trip where I walked at least 4 to 6 miles each day. My feet were comfortable. No rubbing, blisters, or the fatigue you sometimes get from shoes with poor support or an ill-constructed heel cup. I wear an 8.5 medium width. I found the shoes run just a bit long but decided to keep them anyway. This was a good decision. When I walk a lot or sit long hours on a plane my feet do swell a bit, and when distance walking I prefer a padded sneaker sock. So considering that, these shoes are just right. The toe box is generous, so if you have a small bunion these will likely accommodated it, like they did for me. The arch support is very good. These are well made shoes. But they are very stiff in the back and first wear gave me a very large blister on my left foot. I had to put a patch of material, ( I used a large bandaid, but moleskin would be perfect) on the inside of the heel so it would not rub. There is a seam half way down the back the shoe that causes it to rub wrong. I was bit disappointed as aI have other Vionics and I love them. You cannot beat their flip flops. If they made their sneakers feel like that, they would be unbeatable ... show more

Do not size down as is typically ok with this brand...one shoe looks as if it was worn a little, but not the other...weird!
