Way too big! I wanted to love them but could not keep them on my feet. I returned and sized down to a 7.5. These work great with plenty of room for a cozy sock. Good quality mule, but Vionic sizing continues to be all over the place. Hate to return but when you wear a 9, Vionic recommends a 8.5 and it's still too big.

First I ordered this in my normal size and they were huuge. I don’t have thin feet or anything I never have to size down but these were big. For some reason Amazon doesn’t seem to do exchanges, just return and reorder. Still waiting on my refund. I reordered a half size down, could have sized down more but I’m gonna deal with it. However 2 days in the shoes start squeaking with every step. I’ve now had them for about a week and they’re still squeaking. I really like the look of them and they’re really comfortable and supportive. I have plantar fasciitis and these really help with the pain. So do I keep them and deal with the squeaks or return and repurchase again? With how long the first refund is taking I’d be out $300 for who knows how long. Anybody know if the squeaks go away after they’re broken in? ... show more

These are more on trend than the regular mule, but the extra inch provides a learning curve for an older woman like me. After wearing them for a few days, I feel they are forming on my foot, but now I find an irritating seam on the inner top near my big toe, which socks eliminate. I use the vionic brand because I had plantar fasciitis and these brand is amazing for my feet. The last couple of their shoes I have purchased have ran a little big so I sent this one back for 1/2 a size smaller. Great style and quality construction. I wear a 71/2 in Sofft and Born, and an 8 in ASICS Gel Nimbus. The Fairfax mule is one full size too large in the brown suede.
