    • Shoe caused heel pain, supports in shoe seemed misplaced.
First pair of vionics fit well and I was extremely pleased but last 2 pair were miss sized and and had craftmanship flaws. Would recommend not purchasing. First pair must have been a fluke.

I do really like these shoes. I have some foot issues: planter fasciitis and peripheral neuropathy ---both not super bad, but I do have to be careful in footwear. These make my feet feel better by days end and I try to wear them everyday. Maybe I'm "cheap", but $65 is a lot for a pair of shoes...I expect to get some major mileage out of them. I have an office job that doesn't require a ton of walking, and I'm not motivated enough to go walking, let alone jogging etc after work....so I'm pretty easy on my shoes. I purchased these in Jan...it's been 3 months and the inside of the heels are wearing. (See pics) Now I don't untie my shoes when putting on or taking off ...and I get that the heels will break down, and then pretty soon you have that sharp piece sticking thru and poking you and in the trash they go. But these are my special, more expensive shoes, so I've been using a shoe horn to put these on...no wear and tear to the shoe...just normal rubbing. Come on--3 months!? I know, that's like $22/month....not a ton of money, but it's still just tossed away?! And forgive me for thinking that an elite specialty brand should build a better product which only cost me $65 because I purchased on sale via amazons 3rd party vendor...maybe that's the prob: maybe I should have paid Vionic directly for the $170 but I doubt they'd have been ANY better and then I'd be out 2x+. I'm sure I'll continue to wear until they cause me pain....maybe I can get the cost down. Again...they are a good shoe, while they last. A review like this may have helped me to know upfront to expect the cost to be $22/month and then get another pair. Buy them...you will enjoy them...just don't hold hope that you won't have to replace them... SOON. ... show more

    • Use a shoe horn.
I love my Vionics, this is my second pair. They are comfortable and provide excellent support. My only issue is that the back wears quickly and all the lining wore out on my last pair. I recommend using a shoe horn when putting them on to help save on the wear and tear.

My mom and I both got this shoe and it is by far one of the most comfortable vionic shoes that we have ever owned . To me all of my vionics are comfortable but this one goes above and beyond comfortable . I have had to plantar fasciotomys done and after I started wearing vionics I have had no more symptoms. Ever pair including the enids I can wear all day and I am extremeky comfortable. By mom will be getting me the white pair for my birthday in December .
