I've been looking for shoes that will support my achy feet after a 12 shift. I have an undiagnosed plantar fasciitis or even a bursitis but i feel it's what I may be suffering from. So after so many failed shoes I just had to try these shoes on and it works. Normally, I can barely walk on my regular shoes after my shift and the heel of my feet would be tender and sensitive ... it was even difficult to get out of my car and walk inside the house. After a few days wearing these, my feet stopped aching and supported my feet well. I was still walking comfortably even after my shift. The shoes have also held up well even after all the wiping down of shoes after work. Although I must say, after 6 months I had to replace the insole since I feel the insole wearing out causing my feet to ache again. For that reason, I gave the shoes a 4 overall star. Get a pair and it will be hard to go back to other shoes.

I am very happy with these shoes. When I first put them on, they were a little tight but wearing them a bit took care of that. They are quite comfortable now. The leather is soft & pliable. They are cushy & comfortable to wear. They stabilize my heel and the arch support is good. They make my plantar fasciitis pain much better. The first few times I wore them, the tongue on the left shoe dug into my ankle a bit and was uncomfortable. I pulled it to the other side just a bit and it broke in okay. Now it doesn't bother me any more. I found them to be true to size & true to width. I ordered a 5M, which is my normal size. I am very pleased with this purchase. It was my 1st experience with Vionics. I will definitely buy more of their shoes.

Not to slam the shoe but For the last few months I have developed severe pain in my heels on top of bunions, a tailor's bunion on the right plus nerve pain all over my feet from my job bartending and this shoe couldn't address these issues though i had hoped it would. It is a modestly attractive sneaker with good padding in the heels and good roll-through when walking. However there isn't much arch support and little cushioning at the front of the foot. The extra support at the heels pushed the impact of the footfall onto the balls of my feet, result: misery at work. For everyday use like simply walking around they will do. Not for traveling nor long days working through eight hour shifts without sitting down. I point this out because people with bad foot problems look to brands like Vionic to help them solve foot problems and find some relief. Unfortunately this shoe didn't do the trick. My issues will require custom shoes and orthotics but it was worth a shot. Just an fyi.

After researching multiple websites for shoes that could help with my plantar fasciitis and severe heal pain, I decided to give these a go. We have plans this winter that will require a lot of walking and I know I won't be able to "keep up" without significant help from some really good shoes. I've worn these shoes a few times for moderate walks this week and all I can say is, hallelujah! Now don't get me wrong, they're just shoes for goodness sake, they aren't a miracle cure and they're not a substitute for exercise, physical therapy, etc. What they are is an extremely supportive and comfortable pair of shoes that allows me to walk much farther and for a longer duration. I also recommend SB SOX toeless socks/sleeves. The combo provides really great support. I like these shoes and those socks enough that I ordered a second pair of shoes and 6 additional pair of SB SOX.

I bought this shoe because it had a removable shoe insert and I could use my orthotics from my physical therapist. I put the inserts that came with these shoes in another pair of shoes and they are quite good for flat feet. I gave them 3 stars because they're not very comfy (not much padding inside) and because the suede accents on them get dirty very easily.

I found this shoe on a list of tennis shoes that are recommended for people with plantar fasciitis. I first found them at Dillards Department store several years ago. I was happy to find a second pair on Amazon when Dillards no longer carried them. These sneakers provide solid support while being comfortable and stylish. They are available in different colors. Since wearing appropriate shoes I have experienced no further problems with my feet.
