I own an old house that is white with black accents and trim and this mounting block is a perfect fit for my siding and provided a much needed coordinating finishing touch to the wall sconces beside the door. I'm very please with it.

This vinyl siding mounting block was perfect for hanging my outdoor light on my garage. The original, hard styrofoam block had deteriorated after years in use. In addition it was a standard octagon size and had a metal junction box that didn’t quite fit properly. This one was perfect. I especially like the fact that it has the junction box molded into the mounting block. In addition, i had replaced the original light with a slightly larger “lantern” style light that did not quite fit properly on the octagon shape. This longer base fit my light much better giving me a more stable mounting base. It was extremely easy to install and fit perfectly on my vinyl siding. Overall a good value and a great look.

I had a new light installed over my front door last week and have siding. The electrician was able to use this to make the light tight and straight. It attaches easily to the house. Perfection!!!
