I have a circuit Cameo 4, and a friend of mine needed me to cut some vinyl for some cups for a bridal party. She wanted silver, and I've never cut silver before. I must say, it's almost exactly the same as cutting regular vinyl. I was a little nervous, and if I would have followed the directions the first time, would not have had a problem at all. It actually comes with a protective film over it to protect the silver from not getting damaged during shipment or preparing. All I did was cut it into a 12-inch square, remove the protective coating, put it on a light tech mat, and cut all seven names at one time. You do however have to be very careful when you're dealing with fine letters that when you take off the vinyl, you really should cut the individual names out first and remove the vinyl one name at a time. Very glad that I got this, and now I actually have extras laying around that I can use anytime I need. The best part about this is, it's stuck to the mugs, and on one of them, just to test it, I sprayed acrylic on it and I was able to put it in the dishwasher without a single problem. ... show more

Color: 8 Colors Holographic Vinyl Pack Size: Vinyl Pack
So I’ll start with the good part that I love how this vinyl looks on mugs the colors are just what I wanted. Also has decent adhesive when sticking to ceramic but be sure to clean the surface with alcohol first to get the best result. Reasons why I didn’t give it a high rating is as follows. First, I put a full 12x12 sheet on my cricut mat but the lettering I was doing only used half the sheet, so when pulling the vinyl off the cricut mat the rest of the piece bubbled so badly that I’m not going to be able to use it for anything else. Complete waste of material. Moving forward, I will only cut the exact size I need on the mat to avoid having to waste the rest of the sheet. Second, it doesn’t weed very well. When trying to weed between thin letters the whole piece moves and doesn’t seem to stay well on the paper it comes on so made it a lot more difficult and time consuming to make sure it didn’t pull the wrong way and ruin the piece. Worked a lot better when doing thicker fonts or an image without small openings. Altogether, not the worst but I’ll be looking for a different brand next time. ... show more
