This set of four Glasses by NORIMODA brings back the look of yesteryear. We used to call this color midnight blue, but there are probably other names for it. These glasses come in two parts, the actual glass to drink from and the base. Put together it allows the glass to spin. I will admit that I am not sure why they need to spin, except to catch the light when it turns. The glass has several different designs in it but they all work so beautifully together. Done in relief are the detailed butterflies that catch and keep your attention. There is also a single gold label that says "spin Rotating Glass" on the front, something like a medallion. The glasses are meant for alcohol but don't limit yourself to that. They can be used for coffee, tea or just about any drink. Also small deserts with fruit and cream, or puddings. Of course for the deserts, you would want to make them, and when cooled, layer them in the glasses. These glasses are hand wash and dry only. If you love glassware, especially when it brings a touch of nostalgia, as I do, you will love these glasses. Use them to add class to your drinks, beauty to your desserts, or simply display them with your collections. No matter how you use them, you will love them. They would make a beautiful and thoughtful gift . I think because of the details, beauty and that they are a set of four, that the monetary value is right on point.

Arrived quickly and in good condition. I gave this set to my son in law for Father's day and he was absolutely delighted with them. He has a home bar in the garage, and he owns decanter sets, glasses, tumblers, and you name it. But this set of four is unusual in that they can be twirled around as you sip your favorite beverage. Coming in a set of four, they sit on a pedestal for turning them. Very well made out of tempered glass, they're over eight ounces each, which makes them great for either mixed drinks or your two finger, (or three finger), shot of malt whiskey. So, they're the perfect size. Adorned with deep etchings of butterflies, they also feature deep criss cross patterns across the glasses and have ribbing along the crest of them. That means less slippage as the night wears on, unlike smooth glasses that can slide away from you. A fantastic addition to any home bar, they're priced very well at less than forty dollars, making them easily a five star buy.

These spinning whiskey/bourbon glasses are cute and whimsical. The glass mold had little vintage inspired butterflies and dimples and the seams aren’t overly obvious, but with the seams, weight, look, and feel of the glass it won’t be mistaken as crystal. They spin well and it’s easy to place them back onto their base. The base is weighted and sturdy and nothing wobbles in use. They were so cute, my child instantly asked to drink milk from them. He also enjoyed them and now keeps asking for milk (he’s never just drank a glass of milk before in his life, so that’s a testament to their draw. I was just looking for a cute set of whisky/bourbon glasses for my wet bar at a price point where I wouldn’t cry if they were dropped and the fact that these spun made them all the more fun. I also like the blue color. I am not the biggest fan of the coin-style insert (it just reads “Spin Rotating Glass” and I feel like it was a missed opportunity for something cooler.) They may not be super high end but they are definitely fun.

Pouring a drink into this set of four spinning glasses adds a unique twist to my evening relaxation routine. The physical quality of the blue tinted glass feels remarkably heavy and premium in my hand; showing great structural durability. In terms of performance; the built in bearings for the spin work flawlessly; letting the tumbler rotate smoothly on the matching bases without spilling. While the overall execution is excellent; I personally do not like the embossed butterflies on the design for whiskey drinking because it feels a bit too decorative for a traditional rocks glass. For $39.99; this set provides interesting bar utility and good value for the money.
