If you are already a fan of the original Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb like I am, this version is a wonderful addition to the lineup. I was really excited to see how "Pretty Peony" would compare to the deep, sugary warmth of the classic, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. While the original Flowerbomb is famous for its intense, warm patchouli and orchid notes, this version feels much more playful and vibrant. You can instantly smell the DNA of the original, so it feels familiar, but the heavy spice is swapped out for a lighter, fruitier opening. The strawberry note is distinct without being overly sweet or candy-like; it blends really beautifully with the peony to create something that feels very fresh and feminine. It actually passed the "husband test" with flying colors. He specifically mentioned that "that smells nice" and told me he actually likes this better than the original Flowerbomb I usually wear. In terms of performance, the initial intensity lasted about four hours for me. After that, it settled into a lovely dry down that sat closer to the skin but stayed with me all day. It feels perfect for daytime wear or warmer weather when you want that signature Flowerbomb sophistication but in a brighter package. This is a successful, modern spin on a classic. If you love the original but want something a bit more spirited and floral-forward for your collection, this is a safe and lovely bet.

As someone with a collection of several hundred fragrances, I’ve smelled my fair share of the fruity-florals. I recently picked up this 30ml of Pretty Peony, and while it’s undeniably "pretty," it sits in a very specific, youthful lane. The Scent Profile The opening hits with a very distinct, almost "doll-head" artificial strawberry. It’s nostalgic and playful, rather than photorealistic. This quickly transitions into a soft, floral heart that feels bright and airy. What really caught my attention was the dry down: I pick up a persistent vanilla buttercream sweetness. I also suspect a healthy dose of Iso E Super in the base; it gives the fragrance a velvety, sweet wood effect and provides that characteristic "hovering" radiance, even if the scent itself isn't heavy. Performance & Wearability Sillage: It isn’t a room-filler. It creates a polite, intimate scent bubble that lingers for a few hours, likely thanks to those synthetic musk fixatives. Cautions: Because of that buttercream/strawberry sweetness, I could see this becoming quite cloying in high heat or if you’re heavy-handed with the sprayer. Vibe: It feels very casual—perfect for a day of shopping or brunch. The Verdict While I can appreciate the blend, it feels a bit too whimsical and "young" for my personal taste. It’s a very feminine, safe floral-fruity profile that doesn't offer the uniqueness or complexity I typically look for in a high-end designer fragrance. Bottom Line: If you love a sweet, non-serious floral and don't mind a synthetic fruit opening, this is a lovely choice. For the serious enthusiast, however, it might feel a bit redundant.

Flowerbomb Pretty Peony by Viktor & Rolf turned out to be a surprisingly delightful scent. With top notes of strawberry, a heart of fresh peony, and a base of vanilla and musk, it delivers a sweet yet clean fragrance that doesn't lean overly floral or heavy. While it's clearly designed and marketed for women, I think it has a fruity sweetness and a light, airy musk in the dry down that makes it quite wearable for anyone who enjoys candy-like, clean scents. It has a bit of that fresh, almost dry-sheet vibe thanks to the musk and vanilla in the base, which keeps it from becoming overly sweet or cloying. In terms of performance, it's a refined fragrance as you'd expect from Viktor & Rolf, and it projects a nice, bright sweetness without being overpowering. If you're into candy-like, fruity florals with a fresh, airy finish, this one's definitely worth a try. Overall, it gets five stars from me. It's not something I'll reach for all the time, but my wife loves it, and I'll happily keep it in the collection for those moments when I'm in the mood for something sweet, fresh, and easy to wear

You can't go wrong with Viktor & Rolf. All their fragrances are well thought out and smell heavenly. This Peony offering is no different. Upon first spray, I get a berry, and then the floral hits. It has the same depth and longevity as the original Flowerbomb. Two or three sprays lasts all day, and can be smelled several feet away. This smaller size is perfect as a small gift, or to carry in one's handbag. The bottle is high quality and gorgeous. I definitely recommend this perfume, it is a great value for money, and worth every penny.

Flowerbomb Pretty Peony is a fruity floral and it smells so good. I get strawberry right away, and then the peony starts to bloom, all while keeping that familiar Flowerbomb scent in the background. This is one of those perfumes that’s just easy to wear. It feels fresh and playful, but not young or immature. I don’t have to think too hard about when to wear it, it just works. It still smells very much like Flowerbomb, just brighter and more fun. The strawberry and floral notes give it a really pretty, feminine vibe. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be pretty. If it were a color, it would definitely be pink. On me, the longevity and projection are excellent, and it does tend to turn heads. I own most of the Flowerbomb fragrances, and even though this one is new, I already know I’ll be reaching for it often. It’s the kind of scent I put on when I want something light, pretty, and fun. Overall, this feels like the most playful version of Flowerbomb and is especially nice to wear in the springtime.
