I previously owned the older version of this product which I love aside from the battery life. I've owned and used it for a long time now without any issues. However, my son accidentally dropped and broke it so I took the opportunity to buy this new and "improved" version. I have to say I love the new design on this new version and the overalls sleek look and feel. However, that's as far as the positive feedback from me for this product goes. This product is useless for my beard it does not get hot enough to provide any straightening of my beard. I tried it on the highest setting and let it sit for a I couldn't get it hot enough to make a difference on my beard. The older model takes only a few minutes to heat up and it gets HOT on the highest setting. You can literally see that steam coming off the beard straighter. It makes straightening my beard so much easier and faster. Unfortunately the new version of this product is inferior by a long shot. I also don't get why the new version doesn't have a digital display to let you know when the beard straightener has reached it's optimal temperature setting. The old version has a digital display that shows you the temperature rising until it reaches the desired temperature. I had to immediately return this new version of the product and I repurchased the old version I'm very disappointed. This product really missed the mark especially since the older product is so good in my opinion. Avoid buying this version and stick with the older one. I take my beard serious and I always have to keep it nice and neat and this product doesn't meet my standards. ... show more

I like to start with the good things and not go directly into negativity. The design of the brush and the portability of the brush are great. It’s sleek and compact and I really like the brush cover. The main problem is that it barely holds a charge right out of the box. I got it a couple weeks ago and it maybe, MAYBE gets 2 uses on a fully charged battery. It also doesn’t get as hot as I would like. I have a plug in beard brush as well, and it gets twice as hot as this one. So even when it is charged, it barely gets the job done. Lastly, if you have a longer beard like me, the bristles are pretty short and so this one is probably not for you. I hope that helps. ... show more

Incredible straightener which I use for both my curly beard and hair. You can tell it's a high quality item worth every penny. It's small and convenient to take anywhere, and they give a little carrying pouch. Not to over-exaggerate, but this product actually changed my life. I never knew the power that a controlled heating brush can have on making you have a more neat, groomed appearance compared to a regular blow drier. I feel more confident after using it.
