These were installed on a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 2 wheel drive pickup. The OEM component had apparently crumbled and fell off the truck; because I had to scrape the remains out of the cup before installing these. With a little soapy water this product installed quickly with a twisting motion. I felt sure they had locked in but to be on the safe side I put weight on the trailer hitch to make them come in contact with the rear axle. This product really reduced the rear squat of the truck when the camper is being pulled. Sure the ride is stiff when pulling it but it is worth the stability when pulling something that heavy. Easy install. Directions mention using 2x4 and jacking up the truck. I was able to install doing neither. Soaped up the lip and with some force and turning they slipped into place. No real driving with them yet, just pulled out of the driveway. But so far so good. At least twice the size of the factory stops. ... show more
