I think these shoes do their purpose. They kept my feet safe from sharp sticks and rocks when I went tubing and had to get into the water to steer. My feet were a little small for them but they didn’t fall off when swimming so I think the elastic secures them quite nicely. They do come with a tag that explicitly says they are not for walking on slick rocks and slick areas outside of water as they don’t have a whole lot of traction. I would say you could probably try surfing wax on the bottom to give them better traction but won’t say for sure as I haven’t tried it. Overall they did all I needed them to, the price is great, and I would recommend them :)

Measured my foot as they recommended and ordered based on that not my regular shoe size. Fit very nicely. Wife liked them so much she took mine and I had to order another pair. Now my feet don't burn on concrete around pool. Going to take to beach soon. Expect to not have to worry about burning sand until I get to waterline. Also good protection from "stuff" on ground. Yes, these are NOY meant to be worn as shoes for long distance walking. Someone mentioned that they ordered a pair that were too big and used them as house slippers. Tried it and they are very comfortable. recommend product and company

This is an inexpensive water shoe. I wore it on vacation for excursions. I saw a number of other adventurers with the shoes. Easy to spot based on the design and pattern. Depending on the terrain, you may want a thicker sole. I could feel the rocks but my feet were protected. There is not a lot of arch support but I didn’t expect that given it is a flat thin soled shoe. If using for normal water activities, these are perfect. I ordered two pairs. The pink pair got dirty. They were no longer cute nor able to be completely cleaned. I would recommend if these shoes are purchased for excursions or the like to get dark colors.

I used them in a water exercise class because I felt my feet need a little grip. They worked great. I put them on when I just swam in the pool and walked around the pool. I took them off and put my flip flops on to head home. You hardly feel them at all, no weight, may even improve swimming ability!! Everybody at the pool is asking about where I got them because the roughness of the deck and pool can be annoying to your feet. Love love them.

I apparently have the size/shape foot they do not fit well. I do not think it is poor design, simply didnt work well for me. I am in the 1/2 size of the range for the shoe, a women’s 9.5, falling in the 9-10 range. I have a good wide forefoot, average arch, average-large women’s heel. The shoe was super easy to get on but also for it to slide off. Not sure I will buy in a smaller size as then it might be too tight, so will try another style of water shoe. I wore these on different style of beaches, fine sand to pea pebble to rocky. It did fine on the sand and pea pebble but rocky they slide too much. Once I was in the water (flat ocean harbor, low to moderate waves ocean, lake, river) as they didnt fit well they did slip around on my foot. The ocean waves I felt would pull them off so I limited my time in the ocean. Had I not been worried about what my feet would touch down on, I would have throw them back to shore. They are even more important in lake & rivers, worried about garbage people throw in, broken bottles, fishing hooks, etc. Noticed the lake and river mud could pull them off more easily. Again some would be addressed with better fit but some I felt was the weakness of the shoe. So if you are more adventurous and needing something to handle rock scrambles, different risk factors in terrain and debris, you might look elsewhere. If you are sticking to groomed calm beaches without turbulent waves, then these are great if they fit.

these are great water shoes. I wear about a 10.5 shoe. I ordered the 9.5-10.5, and they might be a bit small. not too small, but my toe does want to push past the rubber sole. I kept them, as I thought it would be better snug then loose. I may order the next size up when these wear out. so, be aware.

I am in Love with our water shoes. For the whole family, including my special needs daughter with Cerebal Palsey. We wear them on the boat, on the beach, to the water parks, to wash our cars, and in our own backyard when we put the sprinkles on for the grandkids. I keep xtra in our travel bags, and in our vehicles. I have recommended these to so many of my friends and family and everyone we know is now wearing them. Quality is great...bottoms are very tough and withstood rocky bottomed/sandy lake water. They run very small, though. I ordered 7.5-8.5 and wear an 8 shoe. My toes were poking at the top seam and the shoes seemed to shrink some when wet. Not uncomfortable, but def order up a size. Same for my son and the pair I got for him. Nice product, just runs small.
