I was kind of grossed out the last time we went to the beach and wanted foot coverage this time. I got my usual size. It’s definitely not for long walks, I wore them the first day for the block and a half walk to the beach and I got blisters. The material is thin, but they fit a little loose. Walking on the beach with them was nice, no sharp shells, sand worms or hot sand. However I was a little nervous about wearing them in the actual water, I felt like the waves could pull them right off because they are so loose. After a few steps in the water the souls of the shoes detached and moved around with each step. I’ll probably still use them simply so I don’t spend more money but there is probably a better option out there ... show more

I had specific needs for a shoe I could pack easily, wear without socks, was comfortable, and could be washed. I work for Rideshare companies and wanted to be able to hit the gym without going home to grab a gym bag and obviously can’t keep much in the car without risk of looking “unprofessional” . I rock sandals year round and that’s not gym appropriate foot attire These are easy on, feel great with or without socks, take up little space (can put in glove box or under driver seat) Let me be clear, I only use these for WALKING nothing like running or something where you need ankle support . They feel good for the 30-40 minutes I’m on the treadmill . The shoe insert liner is pretty flimsy (wasn’t expecting much for how affordable these are and that it’s marketed as a water sport shoe) so long term I’ll probably get some separate shoe inserts and trim to fit as I’m sure these will wear out fairly fast with how I’m using them Honestly like them so much I’m thinking of getting more styles and using as slippers around the house or beach shoes ... show more

I waited about 8 months to write this review as I had hopeful dreams I would be going back to the beach sooner. I’ve also just realized that I have no clue where I have stored these shoes (bought one for myself and one for my daughter) so looks like I will be buying again! And so definitely will! As I needed to be able to pull these shoes on/off easily and quickly when I went in/out the camper; the fact I didn’t have to struggle was a huge plus! They were not too tight that they cut off the circulation but They stayed on my feet while jumping on the board trying (key word) to ride the waves. They felt light on my feet but also had a thick enough bottom that those lovely stickers/thorns could not penetrate as I walked. Overall, they were true to size. I have no complaints. I am an elderly woman who has fallen in the shower on more than one occasion. Wearing these shoes as shower shoes has given me a totally new freedom. I am no longer having to deal with large pads that slip and slide when the suction cups come loose. I now just slip on my shoes, step into my shower, and take care of business. I am sometimes lightheaded while washing my hair. With these shower shoes, I have never slipped, even when blinded by shampoo. I would've given five stars, but the insole of the shoes will bunch up and slide if you're not careful. They are inserts, and I believe the shoe would be safer if they were permanent. Like another reviewer, I needed a pair of shoes that took up minimal space in my bag so I can get some exercise (walking) in on the go—these are perfect for that! I sized up not knowing how tight they’d be, but I didn’t have too—there’s plenty of room! These nifty little shoes are going to be a staple for sure!
