This monitor looks great, but if you’re going to put speakers in a monitor at all, at least make them decent 5-watt speakers, because these 2-watt speakers are deficient by any reasonable measure. With that said, you won’t get the most out of these speakers unless you understand that the speaker volume in the monitor settings (accessible ONLY via the buttons on the back right bottom corner) adjusts INDEPENDENTLY of your computer volume settings. Turn the volume all the way up in the volume settings for the monitor AND the computer AND the app or website generating the sound. Then you’ll have volume you can at least hear, even if it’s not satisfying volume and sound quality. Personally, I plug headphones into the mini stereo jack and use those (for which you STILL need the volume all the way up in the monitor volume settings). ... show more

    • Incredibly weak engineering design for the stand/panel connection.

I can not emphasize this enough - BE INCREDIBLY CAREFUL - more than you have ever been on any monitor before, when you connect the panel to the stand. The seemingly oversimplified connection is very weak and in my case, although it 'seemed' like it was connected, it wasn't. I've probably used a dozen gaming monitors over the last 12 years and this by far has the worst connection to the stand I've ever seen. The panel itself is ok, 1440p gaming for a good price, now that 240hz is becoming the norm - but dear lord - the panel will pop right off the stand just connecting an hdmi cable if the connection isn't secure, and that was the problem, it was, but can still come loose very easily. I don't know if this was a isolated manufacturer defect, or if it's just plain bad cheap design, but even the slight bump off the stand, it completely destroyed the panel, which brings me to my second biggest problem, the panel is so weak and flimsy, be extremely careful. i purchased for my parents they didnt like the 24 inch screen that was 10 yrs old so I upgraded them to a 32inch. They use it for movies and everyday stuff and they love it
