Other than some basic things that a software update could fix, and the joystick being odd in it's function (click it and it turns off the display, push it down to get into menu) The display does have the normal limitations of a high end VA panel. There is slight ghosting, though when gaming I never notice it, only when surfing pages, and only certain colors really make it noticeable. The colors are amazing, and if your eyes don't burn out from the brightness, the HDR1400 is also amazing. It is worth mentioning that you have to run at a lower refresh rate to have 10-bit color, and even lower to get 12-bit. Though you can run full speed and have 8-bit with dithering, and if gaming, I double most will even notice. It is a great alternative to an OLED if you are still warry of burn-in. I do believe the price is a little high, if it were priced more competitively, the small issues could be overlooked. As it is priced now (1499 USD) it should be flawless. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a review for the ViewSonic Elite XG341C-2K. I’m just and Average gamer who loves to game and watch movies. I’m primarily got this monitor because I wanted something to game on and view media on at the highest Fidelity. Before getting this monitor and saw tons of YouTube vids and reviews off this site about some of the issues with the monitor including smearing, and ghosting. But I didn’t want that to deter me from getting this beast. The pros- beautiful HDR content viewing - huge screen real estate for multitasking - handles games wonderfully - Monitor has tons of usb and video ports - Build quality is great The Cons- there is some smearing and ghosting - The color accuracy isn’t quite at Oled panel levels but close. Conclusion- if your looking for a good monitor with great HDR and great color accuracy and can overlook the ghosting and small smearing this will be the perfect fit for getting into the HDR space. ... show more

Serious issues with ghosting on HDMI and USBC by far one of the worst monitors I've ever used in the mini LED category.. I tried all settings including overclock 200 Hertz. I'm telling you folks and warning you this monitor is not even close to be worth the price tag of $1,499! I was expecting something a lot better from ViewSonic!! I can confirm this monitor has serious ghosting issues! I have played with all the setting, HDMI and USBC, and it has very bad color accuracy and reproduction along with major major ghosting issues, I thought it was a sick joke! It made me so upset because ViewSonic is known for great products! I'm whole heartedly warning you folks to avoid it's a waste of time and better off picking up the INNOCN 32' MiniLED which I can confirm is far FAR FAR superior as far as color reproduction and accuracy! Nice and bright. 4 RGB lights at the back of which 2 of them on the (back) right side aren't turning on anymore - 3 months in. Contacting support to see how they'll handle it. Will update if resolution occurs. Otherwise I like the monitor.
