This was a pretty good deal for the price, including neon pens and other things that help make a creative and good looking project. (I didn't use the cute flower for the cover, but it is a cute option.) I ALWAYS choose black paper because it's just more dramatic. 60 pages is enough for most projects and the three-ring style makes it easier to deal with and customize. I love the pens, because I always use something like that anyway. They don't last all that long (and I write a lot in my photo books), and you might run out of pretty ink mid-word. But I think there are enough of them, and duplicates of most colors, to last through a project. It is a little small for two 4x6 photos to a page, which is the norm size-wise, so you have to plan a little more carefully. Love it! ... show more

Bought this for my 14 year old daughter who wanted a mini photo printer for Christmas. My thinking is she will have a place to put her photos and do like a journal of her next few years as a teen! Memories! The extras such as the border tape, neon pens, stickers, etc are icing on the cake. Great quality and I know she will love it ! The pages are black. My guess is the neon pens will have a cool effect on those black pages! ... show more

Love the book, the photo corners were great but be prepared to get your own stickers. These are thin and see through and remind me of Easter eggs stickers. They look really weird on the paper. Also I expected white paper like this photo but the paper was black so some of the stickers I'd gotten in preparation I had to return. But I did love the book itself with the super cute flower and nice gift box. My sister said it was her favorite gift from Christmas. ... show more

Pages are black, I saw the one photo in the product description with white pages and just assumed. But they are black. The gel pens go on looking like chalk. If you want saturated color for your writing you will have to write it multiple times over and over. Aside from that little let-down, everything else is as pictured.
