Victron is the gold standard when it comes to mobile solar equipment, and the Multiplus II is no exception. Packed with features and extremely reliable. The one complaint I have is that it's rated in VA and not watts. Most other inverters are rated in watts, so a 3000W inverter will put out more power than a Victron 3000.     • Tech support is not provided by Victron, but by an individual “Dealer”. Your results may vary.

Beware: Victron does not provide technical support directly. These are usually sold by “dealers” and each one is charged to provide technical support to its customers. Each dealer may or may not know the answer to questions you may have. Amazon doesn’t seem to be one of these dealers but my unit was shipped directly from them. It would seem that I was assigned a dealer in the U.S. that couldn’t find my serial number in his database but answered what he could about my product. This arrangement makes you feel like you are asking for a favor to get some questions answered. Usually companies have organic tech support but not Victron. The unit is very well built and is working in my application but dedicated tech support from the manufacturer for these products is needed. Update: There is peer support on victron’s website. I’ve managed to get help there as well. The system is working perfectly and doing exactly what I wanted. The whole dealer support concept is still a little strange especially if purchased on Amazon. ... show more

Installed the multiplus on my houseboat to supply power to the security cameras. This is the third inverter in a year and so believe it will be the last. Only been online less than a week but so far it is perfect.
