The tips have slightly started flaking off after quite a few months of heavy work which is semi expected, but the insulation is still great. My hands are always warm for hours on end in 30 degree environment (Fahrenheit) but it does not have very good grip. These gloves are waterproof. The outer layer gets soaked and holds the weight when in rain, but the inside stays dry. My fingers get a bit cold but not bad, use hand warmers and your good. Throw them on the defrost vent and they dry fairly quick. I'm LEO and would buy again. John 14:6

Both pairs purchased do not work on a touch screen as advertised? At 35 degrees my hands were freezing? I purchased XL's. They run small and feel more like a large.
