This is a nicely made bracelet and is very shiny. I am not a metals expert, so I cannot tell you that this is white gold plate or not, but I can tell you that it is not silver nor stainless steel (outside). I rarely see white gold and don't own any, so that's all I can say about that. I can only assume it is what the listing says. (Re the reviewer who said that he/she was unsure what this was made of because the listing says "gold filled" and "gold plated stainless steel," those 2 terms are basically the same. "Gold filled" means that the gold is filled with something. It doesn't mean "filled with gold." In this case, it is gold filled stainless, or filled with stainless steel, aka gold plated ss.) I got this for myself even though this is supposedly a men's bracelet. I used to have a slightly thinner bracelet that looked similar that I wore ALL the TIME. I loved that bracelet, but unfortunately, I think I must have lost some weight and it kept slipping off my wrist, until, alas, I couldn't find it. : / This one is a bit thicker than I would like, but I didn't have a ruler when I ordered it, so... I also unfortunately got it too long...it is basically the same length as my last bracelet, so I will probably lose this one too at some point. In fact today, I noticed it was gone and I just assumed that it had slipped off, although I had no idea how that could be because my other bracelet came off because I was wearing work gloves and the bracelet went on the outside of the glove and came off with the glove. I checked my car and there it was on the ground, but the clasp was undone. Again, I have NO IDEA how that could have happened because I don't recall the bracelet hooking onto anything. So basically, somehow, the clasp comes undone rather easily. (I noticed another reviewer said the same.) The one thing I wonder about plated jewelry is how long the coating will last. I have only worn this bracelet for a few days and I did notice that it has tiny scratches. I imagine, the shine will disappear rather quickly, at least for me because once I put the bracelet on, I generally don't take it off. 1 star ding for the clasp issue. Tip: There were several complaints about difficulty putting the bracelet on by oneself due to clasp design. I too had a problem, but then I realized that I could put it on the same way that I put my other bracelet on, and that is, you hang the bracelet end over your wrist so that the end is pointed down and nearest you. With your free hand, press the clasp and insert the hanging end and let the clasp go. Happy trails!

I bought this bracelet five weeks ago. Now that it is past the return date, I notice that the gold plating is wearing off of the surface that touches my skin. In the photo, the near chain is the side that is still gold, the far chain is the surface that is turning silver. Poor quality.

This is hard to put on and much smaller than expected. I got it for my husband, but it does not come close to fitting him, so I tried it for myself. It was very difficult to get clasped on my own. I needed my son to help me. I do not think the clasp will hold up over time. I will be getting rid of it, so I cannot come back and review whether it turns your wrist green or holds up over time. I do think this would be a good gift for a child.

Really like this bracelet! Decent quality for the price. I have big wrists and it fits great without being too tight. I have worn it every day for around 3 months and the gold has held up really well. Would probably buy another one.
