Such a nice kit with very good directions. After welding and putting some bracing on my gate it became even heavier. It is literally a one finger operation to lift and lower the gate now. Install was very easy and only took about 30 minutes. Everything came packaged well and there were no missing parts or pieces. The only negative I could even think of is the spring was pretty loud but I sprayed the whole thing down with Lucas red and tacky spray grease and it really quieted it down and will also help with the spring from ever rusting. You can also buy 2x2 end caps to seal off the end from anything ever getting into it. $47 is a steal compared to $2-300 for other big named brands that do the exact same thing. I will 100% buy this kit for any trailer in the future.

This is an item that everyone with a gate on their trailer should automatically purchase. Why did we wait so long to get them? They are a safety must have! We have two different size trailers and the gates are SO heavy it was always an issue but these lifts are simple and effective. Installation was 10 minutes at the most.

Can’t beat the price and is the same quality as the gorilla lift. I’m only using one on my 12 foot utility trailer gate heavy gate but sure helps. I would say 50% better on the effort

Works great definitely cheaper then the yellow brand & others express the springs are noisy. Well I covered my springs with lithium grease and what a sound difference it made. A lot quieter. Only used one side but the price for both were under $50 . Definitely worth the price.

Needed some modifications to fit my 2” square top rail and vertical frame. Drilled, dremeled, filed out rear carriage bolt hole to clear rear post. Of course a real man would have just welded it on instead of using the bolt. Sliced off top of gate closure with angle grinder so cable would clear it. It works with just one side mounted even weak as I am but my gate is heavy and it torques the hinges a bit. I’ll mount the other side.

I recently installed the Vevor tailgate lift assist system on my 5x10 utility trailer. The install was straightforward and easy to follow. The only problem I ran into was there were missing washers. I had to run to the hardware store to purchase the 3 missing washers which I found inconvenient. How could you forget to provide all needed hardware for the installation?
