This is probably the most complete portable winch on the market. I use them half a dozen times a year for snowmobile recovery. I’m handicapped, and when I get stuck, using the winch is easier than digging out. This is my third one. First two were self contained units. The Chinese build quality was sub par, and both broke after just a few seasons. This winch boasts 6000 pound capacity. I’ve not verified that. This is also the first one where the enclosure box is part of the winch. It has both wires and wireless control. The box has a variety of mounting options. It is heavier than others I’ve used. I’ll do a full report after I use it the first time. But it has six times the pulling capacity as the first one, and three times the second one. I’m interested in seeing how it works. ... show more

    • Power leads are only 6ft long
Nice unit works pretty well when it’s within 5-6ft of the battery of your vehicle lol. The power leads are far too short to be really useable. I’m going to have to somehow extend these power leads as they are only about 6ft long and you cannot use jumper cables to extend the power leads.
