This filter works good so far. A tight fit into my Germ Guardian but it seemed to register as the original brand because I didn't need to tape down the bottom tab to get it to reset/work. YMMV I like the extra charcoal pads included and they are thicker than the original supplied with the Germ Guardian. I noticed this was just a tad bigger than the plastic housing that held the original filter and got me thinking--if VEVA made the filter a tad smaller, it would fit into the original filter housing and world work just like the oem. I easily pulled out the dirty hepa from the plastic casing and would happily use casing with replacement filter inserts if these were available. Then, it would sit on the bottom tab as intended (looks like some people had to tape over it to get the unit to think it was an oem filter). Just an idea. ... show more

I started using these in my air purifier but found that by the time I used the last foam filter, the paper filter was filthy and I was questioning how healthy that was. I stopped using these when I found the 6 pack of paper filters.
