The best part isn't what you might expect.
Color: Original
This bag mostly gets 5-star reviews and it's easy to see why. I suspect many of those are from EDC users and I'm trying to use it for electrical and advanced renovation work so my comments tend to be more focused on those needs. First, this pack consists of two parts, a hard-shell rear part and then a small pouch with a very nice magnetic flap on the back that can attach to the front of the hard shell or just go on your belt (or onto other Veto Pro Pac bags with any kind of slot on the front or sides). The hard shell has one removable panel inside that you can customize -- I'd strongly suggest you check the Veto website to see the alternatives (at $11.50 or so for each panel, they are a cheap customization that may suit your needs) or just remove the panel and maximize the space inside. The opposite side of the hard shell has a fixed set of pockets. The hard shell opens partially and is held in that position by a couple velcro'd straps on each side -- by and large that helps secure loose stuff inside, though a hard yank can spill it open -- or you can tuck the straps out of the way so it opens fully. (I actually cut the straps off mine because I never needed them. I used a couple of the single-pocket neoprene inserts as a way to hold all kinds of 5-7 inch long bits, tools, etc.). The hard shell looks like it'd hold more but it fills rapidly, so for me the clip-on pouch is the most useful. This pouch I use mostly on its own, with the hard shell stuffed in my rolling box as a place for spare impact bits and the like. The pouch as shown is remarkably light, with two Wera adjustable length screwdrivers, a high power flashlight, a voltage sniffer, a pencil, two long Torx bits, a 3 inch impact socket for 1/4" hex, a Holstery magnetic pad to catch fasteners and extra tools, and a Klein stripper that doubles as general purpose pliers. With this kit I can wire ceiling fans or electric outlets, replace door knob assemblies, do most repairs on appliances, and so on. And it fits onto an open flush pocket on half a dozen Veto bags I have. In short, this part is immensely useful and justifies the whole SC45 package. The hard case is ... ok, but there are lots of hard cases that can do as well. They need to redesign and upgrade the hard shell but not touch the pouch. In any case, it's still a 5-star product.

Won't buy any other brand.

Perfect size inspection pouch for organizing a few hand tools. The pocket stuffing pouch makes carrying it a breeze. Tools are easily swapped in and out for whatever is required for the task at hand and the quality is next to none. Hard to beat Veto when it comes to quality tool pouches.

This pouch will change your life, seriously.
Color: Original
In a matter of weeks this pocket pouch changed how I've carried my tools for the last decade. The magnets that hold it in your pocket are outstanding and it is extremely versatile. Holds the powerhouse 5 plus any and similar combo of tools you could want including sharpies, pencil, and tape.
