I am an commercial/industrial HVAC-R technician and I run service calls, not install (though I do those on occasion), so my bag is set up to run calls. The MB2 is great for this as well, BUT if you like to take just a little extra to reduce trips back and forth to the van, or if you have a tablet the MB3 is perfect. You can buy clip on back pack straps and convert this bag into a back pack. The MB3 can hold a meter, all the tools you would need for a service call, a filter puller, and a drill. Even a small clear tackle box for electrical connectors and valve cores. Some techs aren’t concerned with all of that and don’t need as much space, if that’s you than the MB2 is your bag. If you want just a little more than this is the perfect bag. Almost a back pack, but not as big or bulky. Anyone in the trades knows the QUALITY of Veto bags. NO other brand touches VETO in the arena of quality and craftsmanship. Hopefully this helps. ... show more

    • Gear for a meter bag/quick service bag
On this version there are two loops on the back side, these are for carabiners. These lumps are annoying when carrying it. I hope they release an additional insert for this with more segmented storage as an option. This unit comes with one Velcro spacer, I would buy 3 more if they were available. But seriously, I was looking for a bag to hold a tablet (Surface Go), my meters x3, and some basic hand tools and this bag handles it all. This is my fourth Veto bag and the materials and craftsmanship that goes into these bags are the best on the market. I have a Fluke 376FC, 87V, and 715 all stored in their individual bags , with the organizer removed I still have room for accessory leads, tools, gloves, safety glasses, and charging cords. The center organizer would be super nice if you store your meters without bags/cases. The base could be a little larger and I wish it had a tape measure holder (tip flip over one of the D rings and clip it on there). ... show more

If you've had a veto pro-pac then you know the quality you're getting I recently had the MB2 and needed more room so far this bag works for me I'm an HVAC technician our team takes care of 200 plus buildings I carry my basic hand tools in this bag I'm going from building to building going up on rooftops this bag feels light with heavy duty material the main compartment hold my meter temp gun and impact gun with more room to spare the inside sleeve compartment comes out you can use it with or without I prefer with. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I think the newer version of this bag is better mainly due to the large inside section being so difficult to access your meters. It's a huge waste of realestate. The newer one carries more tools and your meters are easy to access. If you have the option I would buy the newer version over this bag. ... show more

This bag holds all my tools I use on most service jobs I have to do. It holds more that I thought it would and seems to do it in a way that it is not too heavy. Used to use the MB2 bag and that was fine for about half of my services. Always had to go to van to grab a few more tools quite frequently. Way more room in it than I first thought. It got my meters and then some. I was able to fit a 2 meters and a Milwaukee m12 drill in the main compartment. Tons of space for all the other things I’ll need for running hvac service. The tablet pocket is a plus. Worth every Penny
