I bought these brushes because they looked good and were at an amazing price for the quality. I am doing a few projects with both latex and oil-based paints and I didn't want to have to clean them each time. These have exceeded my expectations. They work very well for both types of paints. They don't lose bristles. They are fine enough to not leave big brush marks. Just the right stiffness. I recommend these. These brushes are as good as any paint brush I have ever used. The are inexpensive enough to use and throw away rather than bother cleaning them. They do clean up very well and can be used many times, which is what I do.

I hate cleaning paint brushes, plus after a while they can no longer be cleaned enough to keep using, so I don't buy expensive brushes as a rule. I did not buy these as throwaways, but replacements. Turns out they are actually a decent brush, I like the long wooden handle, applies paint well, and cleans pretty good. Good brushes for the cost. ... show more

I do not wash and dry brushes. For me, theyre single use and I seek out inexpensive tho' high quality brushes. No bristles coming loose and quality is good. I found no shortcomings here and when my supply dwindles, I'll buy em again. It's a good product at a great price.

I've been a professional painter for nearly 20 years. I bought these brushes to use on projects at home. I've never used better brushes in my life! I couldn't believe it! One brush I own cost me $45 and doesn't paint half as well as these!!

These are a great buy for a general work sash brush. I cut the handle off the one pictured because I was working in confined space priming and painting some shelving made from BC plywood (mediocre quality in other words). I primed with Kilz and finished with 2 coats of latex enamel, all using the same brush. I had ONE loose hair shed during the 3 coats of paint applied to a rather rough surface. Clean up was easy and the bristles were nice and springy after 3 cleanings. I’m pretty particular about paint brushes and prefer paying top dollar for Purdy. Usually on this kind of project I’d have used cheap chip brushes and just accepted the shedding bristles because it’s in a garden shed but there was NO shedding. These brushes are as cheap as chip brushes but loaded up and held paint beautifully and kept their shape and edge. I wouldn’t hesitate to use on interior trim work inside the house.
