This is a great medium-duty tape. It's perfect for most tasks, such as sealing boxes for mailing or storage. The 2.7 mil thickness is more than thick enough for routine tasks. It unrolls easily using a standard tape dispenser, and sticks very firmly. It is not the best option for super heavy duty tasks, such as sealing very heavy (50+ pound) boxes. For that you need tape that's 3.2 mil or thicker. But for most day-to-day tasks, this works great and is much better than the very low cost (and low quality) tapes. I've never heard of this brand before, but as soon as I started using it no complaints. As someone who goes through a lot of tape shipping orders and items out this was definitely worth it. I've been buying this stuff for about 5 years now for the occasional online transaction and household stuff. I find it sticks well to cardboard and paper and that's about 90% of my needs. Some people seem to believe thicker tape always equals better, but for packing I find a thinner, more pliable tape but with good adhesive is the key for staying on box edges & corners. This fit the bill and was decently priced. Now that it's time to re-up, I see it's gone up in price by 36% since my last purchase. This clear tape only has to be used 1x for sealing moving boxes together, because it is thick and has max adhesion. Other cheaper tapes are thin and tear easily, so you have to use multiple layers to seal your moving boxes together, which negates the savings. This brand was used to tape/seal 40 moving boxes, without issue and I'm ordering more for stock up, because I don't like running out of good tape. Our warehouse goes to extremely hot in summer and pretty cold in winter and believe it or not the tapes sticks differently in each climate. This tape is a great price for it's thickness and stickiness. I only have to use one strip of tape when shipping, where I was using 2 with the cheaper quality tape. This will save me money in the long run. Will buy again when I run out!
