This dress is nowhere near worth $53. The material is thin. Not the outside fabric obviously but the lining in the inside is thin too. The material is cheap and rigid. I think where others have said it fits large is the armholes are too big and they sit really weird. The fastener is just a cheap plastic bit. But here's where I just had to laugh. I took a picture to show how thin the material was and as I go to fasten the neckline up so I could fold it back into the bag the EYELET BROKE. Holy cow do not buy this. $10 maybe. But $53?! Yeah nah. Oh, and shipping was awful too. Event I needed this for was on Saturday evening. Ordered it on a Wednesday, said it would deliver Saturday. No big most of my deliveries come by 5pm, the event was at 9pm. It got here on Tuesday even after I tried canceling the order two times even though it hadn't been shipped yet. They still sent it. Bought this to wear to a family event that had a Lavender/Purple color theme. I had tried it on and it fit perfectly in XL (I'm 5'6 185lbs). Its was flowy with a nice outer material and just the right length with heels or flats (shorter individuals may find it too long. The underlay was a different material with stretch and gave you a shape so the dress wouldn't look like a trash bag or curtain, but if you get a lighter color it may show some lumps and bumps, nothing shape wear couldn't smooth right out. The dress is flattering and the halter style top made it really cute. Con: Unfortunately, I didn't get to wear the dress because I didn't pack the right bra to wear...just assumed a strapless bra would work. All strapless bras are not created equal. Mine showed under the arm very prominently and the underlay did not cover the bulge at the top of my bra or the outline of the bra...all this was very noticeable through the outer fabric material. So, I went with my back up. I only returned it bc it was color specific and not something I would wear continuously. I may consider black and have it as a go-to for formal occasions. Beautiful and flowy. Color as pictured. Nice for the price. Seems good quality. Had to return due to tight around the boob area. I'm 42C and normally 18 is perfect. Wish I could have sized up but not in stock. Would buy again in larger size.

As someone who is very self-conscious about my midsection, it's always hard to find a dress I am comfortable wearing. This dress fit the mold!
