I absolutely love this dress. It is comfortable but still very classic and fits for a variety of events or even just causal wear. Initially I thought the price was a bit too much especially because it did have a smell first opening the package, but the smell went aware after the first wash and I have definitely been getting my money's worth out of it. My coworkers have given me so many compliments! The only reason I wouldn't recommend this dress is if you like a longer collar on mock necks or if you want a durable dress because it seems to need gentle handling when washing to preserve it. For myself wearing it once a week at most is plenty and I hope to be able to keep wearing it :)

My wife wore the burgundy dress to a party and it looked very pretty. However, she said the reviews about the neck opening being small are 100% correct. It was so tight that she had to put the dress on and then lay a cover over the top to put on makeup. Otherwise, there was no way to avoid the neck touching her face and it would have smeared makeup on the dress. The neck band is also a little odd in that it isn't tall enough to be a mock turtle neck, nor is it short enough to be just a banded neckline. It isn't bad but that could be better, hence 4 stars and not 5. She liked it enough to order another color.

I ordered an extra-large size and found the neck opening small so wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked. Wore it to my son's wedding. Great to dress up or down once that issue is dealt with.

I am very pleased because I love dresses. It's pretty, comfortable, flattering, versitile and fits perfect. Good for fall, winter and spring. Looks great with boots. The only issue might be the neck being small. If you have a thicker neck or just don't like collars on your neck you may want to reconsider. It's perfect for me, 115lbs & 5'2" and I like high necks.
