When I opened the box, I was a little concerned because the shoes looked narrow, but surprisingly, the are roomy enough even for a heavier weight sock without my foot feeling squeezed. If you need built in arch support, these shoes have it. I am used to taking out the insole and replacing it with my custom arch support, but with the Dansko Peony, I didn’t have to. They are lightweight and have a nice cushiony feel, but with some structure built in. I wish they came in a better selection of colors (I ended up with the white), but these will work for me. Also, they come with two different types of shoelaces. One is a flat elastic, which would be a good option if your feet are a bit wider, and the other is a round lace which worked better for me. I haven’t gone for a long walk yet, but I think these shoes will keep my feet comfortable. ... show more

This is my second pair of these. I purchased them in black a few months ago. These are yellow. They rival any other athletic shoe I’ve ever worn—and rightly so. Dansko designs and builds a great shoe (I’ve had many of their clogs). They’re sturdy and hold your foot and ankle in place over tough terrain. A big plus is the elastic shoe lace. Once you have it tied for your fit, you can easily slip in and out of the shoe without having to untie the lace. ... show more

Sneakers are cute & well made however, the white material has a blue underlay so they aren’t white-white. Toebox was roomy enough but the Instep was on the narrow side and although supportive felt too tight. Good arch support like Dansko is known for.
