Bought these because I wanted to transfer large amounts of data between systems. Let's be honest, with Intel sticking with USB 3.0 and Apple moving on with thunderbolt and USB-C its hard to move files between systems. I never did like the new format USB fobs and it didn't seem to catch on. CD and DVD burners still have some use and are archival. With these DVD's you can have some interoperability back. It's also great for storing different operating systems and maybe live DVD's with Linux. I guess it's not for everyone but has its place. ... show more
