This planter is wonderful! I went with the recommendation of a previous commenter and YouTube videos and filled the base with bottles to decrease the weight and amount of soil. If you have 6 gallon water bottles, they should fit fine. After including some volcano rocks, I filled it and watered down 2 bags of cactus mix. I used approximately 1/3 of another bag of mix around my succulents. Happy planting! ... show more

I bought 4. They look very nice. About the right size. The top opening is a little narrow. You need to fill the bottom half with filler to keep the weight and soil cost reasonable. They seem stable. One corner of 1 container box was cracked from shipping.

I ordered these pots to display plants / flowers. Upon arrival, there is no shelf inside so they will require a substantial amount of filler / soil for the plants to reach the top. They cost much more than I would have liked but I like their appearance and they should endure the elements. The video on the Veradek showed a shelf being included with pots but apparently not this one. I will have to create a shelf to make the pots usable. ... show more

I had my eye on these for months, I just love the design. Ordered two sets, they were perfect for the project I had. Unfortunately, I noticed one of them has cracked at the corner. The planter is not “over stuffed” & I did use the braces supplied to prevent expansion. The worst part is I do not have a green thumb & the plants placed in this particular planter all died; my point is there were NO expanding root systems to force expansion thus causing a crack. Will try to fix it as it was entirely too expensive to last only 6 months. ... show more

This is the second time purchasing these planters. They are great looking and definitely more reasonable and lighter than cement planters. We put rocks in the bottom for drainage. So far the plants have done well in our first set. I will buy from this company again.

A lot of money to spend but quite a bargain when you look at other big brand names who ironically enough carry Veradik. Still plastic even if high quality and we will see how they stand the rest of time after 1 year with killer maintenance and shaded outside area.
