They run a bit large but since they are 100% Cotton they will likely shrink a tad in the washing machine if you want a slightly most tailored fit. The material is breathable yet cozy.     • Love these pajamas except for snow globe motif and tartan plaid
I have these pajamas in 3 color patterns. I love them. The top is slightly smaller than the bottoms which suits my body. The cotton fabric allows me to wear them to sleep in during colder and warmer weather. The only issue is that the ribbon drawstring is developing a small tear so if it tears off the length then I would not be able to keep the bottoms on my tummy securely. I would probably go to a taylor to put another drawstring in the bottoms or a more tightly elasticized waist. That’s how much I like them. UPDATE: I did end up taking my VB pajama bottoms in 3X to a Tailor who put a tighter elastic waistband in them. Now the pajamas are perfect. UPDATE 2: All of the pajamas are a comfortable 95% cotton and 5% spandex except the snow globe motif and tartan plaid which are 100% cotton with no spandex. The 100% cotton of the snow globe motif and tartan plaid feels like a rough, thick, unyielding, piece of felt. They are horrible. There is more to the story of that fabric than I know. Just open the package and get a good feel of that snowe globe motif and tartan plaid. It’s very sad after having the great fabric of the other four pajama patterns, those labeled as 95% cotton and 5% spandex. Huge difference. ... show more

These pajamas are very soft, comfortable and just the right length (I’m 5’ 4”). Most pajamas are too long.

    • Very nice but ENORMOUS!
These are great - soft and warm but THEY ARE HUGE! I read the reviews saying to size up so I got an XL, thinking I’d much rather have them be too big than too small (I usually either get L or XL PJs) . Well…the XLs are marked size 16-18 (I think that’s a 1X in most brands) and the pants, in particular, are absolutely enormous. The waist is around 40”. Even with the elastic band and cinchable drawstring, they are just huge. I even washed them (making them unreturnable, I assume) thinking they might shrink a lot and at least make them wearable. Nope, they didn’t shrink a millimeter. I previously bought XL Vera Bradley PJs from Costco that were significantly smaller than these - the waist on those are 31”. So they are great PJs but getting the right size seems to be a real challenge. ... show more

The feel! When described as cotton, I was surprised, expecting “cotton “, not a silky cotton feel! The pj’s were purchased as a gift! Have to wait to see if she likes them!
