I used to wonder why my mom would pay so much for a purse that wasn't leather - I don't wonder anymore! Vera Bradley makes extremely high quality products. You won't find any flaws, no loose threads in sight, her purses are roomy with lots of pockets and most can be thrown in the washer (carefully placed in a zippered lingerie bag on gentle cycle) and her bags last forever. I was almost disappointed when I unpacked this purse because it didn't seem large enough to hold a lot. But then I started putting my stuff in and it seemed to literally expand! I LOVE the 3 compartments and while holding a bunch of stuff it still feels rather lightweight and comfortable. It has 3 outer pockets, 1 magnetized and 1 zippered, 2 outside compartments and a third compartment in the middle that zips. The 2 outside ones close with a magnet and 1 has a zippered pocket inside. For the peach blossom picnic bag - Very cute design for spring/summer, however the magnet that is supposed to keep the two outer compartments together does not stick at all...unless nothing is in the bag. I took a chance buying this since I saw that the reviews on the main Vera Bradley website say the same thing. It seems that this design in particular has been defective compared to there other multi compartment Vera Bradley bags. Glad I bought it when it was deeply discounted. Otherwise, everything else has been as advertised. The first picture shows the magnets holding while nothing is in the bag, the second picture shows that the magnets do not connect at all while items are in the bag. For the black bag - It is perfect! All the the magnets connect well and I'm very happy with it. The picture shows the bag with two books and a wallet in it. ... show more

Always a Vera Bradley fan ! Never tried this particular style bag and have found it to be a perfect size . The center zippered area is nice , Large side pockets with magnetic close . Then , two more outside pockets that are deep , perfect for keys and phone . Oh! And a zippered pocket inside for my work badge . Will be buying this style again . ... show more
