So far I love these shoes! I listened to the other reviews and ordered an 8. I generally wear an 8.5 and have narrow heels so they are a bit loose in the back but not more than I am used to when buying shoes. The shearling lining is buttery soft and I love the deep cabernet color! They feel like slippers and I love that they have aggressive tread on the bottom but it doesn’t make them look odd. More impressed than I expected. No rubbing on my heel which is an automatic plus. I was not sure I would be okay with the knobby soles for appearance reasons. The shoes are comfortable enough to overlook that part. I don't want to discourage anyone with that statement. I guess I am transitioning to a new phase of my life. The "I am now 50 and comfort supersedes all". Maybe I should preface it this way... I plan to purchase these shoes in more colors, so obviously, they are a win. I bought my first pair of these shoes, beige, in June 2024, and have had no problems. Second pair, khaki, in April 2025, and no problems. Third pair, black, purchased in May 2025, and this is what they look like. I’ve bought three pair because they’re very comfortable, look nice, and are affordable. I’m 76 and due to serious health issues, don’t feel like having to messaround with having to hot glue the insole back in place. ... show more

I have 2 pairs of these shoes and love them. I wish they would match the color of the sole/tread to the upper a little better, but that's a minor complaint. The shoe itself has no internal support (like walking barefoot), which works for me. It is nice and squishy and comfortable to walk all day in, as long as you don't require arch support. You could certainly add your own suport-there is plenty of space inside. They are wide enough that many wide feet could probably wear them. There is a sizing quirk. I ordered 2 pairs of 9.5. , maybe 6&8 months apart. They are both labeled 9.5 but the other size stamped on them is different. I'm not sure if it's European or some other scale. But, my first 9.5 was a 42, and my 2nd 9.5 was a 41.5. I can feel the difference, and I would prefer the bigger size, but I'm making it work. The shoes do stretch a bit, so it's not uncomfortable. For reference, the black pair (bought 2nd) was smaller than the beige pair. I would definitely buy again. ... show more
