The only reason I had to buy a new one is the tape that held the front piece on came off and my granddaughter pulled it and the front wouldn't stay on. As far a durability and keeping your phone safe it's GREAT!!!

    • Front screen protector is plastic.

First of all I have gotten A LOT of compliments from people seeing my phone in its case for the first time and it has held up really well but there have been a few issues with things as of recently. Front screen protector is just made from a clear plastic *** and not from a tempered glass or a gorilla glass of some sort. My front screen protector had cracked simply after just a couple of months. Now a total of 7 months since I received my case in the mail it has also cracked on the front protective screen cover on the upper left-hand corner, it no longer opens smoothly unless I apply pressure to the point of the crack to get it to open every time. Otherwise, the entire front screen protector pops off and I have to re-install it before I can start using it again in the full open position. All total this has been a really nice phone case for my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 but I won't be purchasing another one from this company simply because for the price I had paid of nearly $40 (which is the most expensive case I've ever paid for a phone case) and it didn't hold up nearly as well as my last phone case for my LG G7 which cost me about $10 and never once cracked over the 3 years I owned that phone and with me being clumsy, I need a phone case that will stand the test of time and is Gary proof. LOL Recently, I did order a tempered glass screen protector for the front screen just for added protection for the reason I had mentioned earlier. *** ... show more

Update: the original fell apart in under a month BUT.... i was contacted by the sellers after my review and i have decided to reorder this phone case and try again. I understand sometimes quality control can miss things and since they reached out to me I am willing to see how it goes. I do appreciate their effort and think you can't always judge a product or company by what it does right. You sometimes have to base the judgements on how they fix what went wrong. Original review: It has been less than a month and initially i liked the case went on smooth and seemed to be ok. Less than a month later the magnets are calling out of the of the spline piece and the little plastic hinges are cracked and will soon be broken. Very dissappointed ... show more

    • Metal ring on back breaks off. It is poorly designed.

I bought this item twice, hoping it wouldn't break, but here I am, 10 days after the product-return window, and the metal ring broke on the case again. There is no method to contact the seller and Amazon won't help since it is past the return window. The problem is the small (around 1/8 inch dia) rotating attachment point is hollow with only a thin sheet metal thickness. Every time that metal finger-holder rotates, the thin metal grinds on metal inside the cover, eventually wearing and breaking off the small attachment point. It is designed cheaply and WILL break. So if you want a case that has a ring holder that breaks off, sure - buy it. ... show more

I purchased this case 9/13/23 and today is 3/5/24. I had this case almost 6 months. It has been dropped more times than I can remember. It has taken every impact I have thrown at it, none of them intentional, I'm just a butterfingers. My phone is in pristine condition because of this case. It looks exactly like it did when I bought it Dec of 2022. I purchased it in the orange which is an amazing color and makes it super easy to spot as I also tend to set my phone down alot and then can't find it. So all that being said I will tell you my 2 negatives. It adds A LOT of bulk to your phone. A LOT. I have medium sized girl hands and its not uncomfortable by any means, it's just a solid case on an already big phone. But if you want protection, this is the case for you! And the pen holder is brilliant! I received a new pink case today as my orange one was looking a bit dingy. Now for the main issue. The magnetic kickstand. It's not good. It can barely hold up this phone. Also, it's really hard to move around and it breaks very easily. (I purchased 2 in September originally because the first case it broke within a day.) I wish they would address that issue but it's not a preventing me from continuing to purchase these cases. I love them. If you need a case that can withstand a lot, then buy this one!
