I have a large bedroom that accommodates this table for my sofa. I use the lift top for using my computer. I question how long this part will work as it doesn't seem to be anchored as well as should be because of the way it is designed. But thus far it is working. As for the other side of the desk it easily extends both ways and I love it. I wish the table tops were actually different sizes. I'd like to see the smaller part the size of the lift top and the lift top working as the current smaller top. I am using this table daily and I am happy I purchased this one.

There is a good bit of storage and good when I wanted to sit on the sofa and work on my laptop. When pushing it back down to close it was not even with the other side of storage (that just slides back and forth). It often got caught. It was not user building error. We followed instructions and when we measured the cut of the wood was just ever so slightly off.

This is a great functional table when you are limited on space. It's pretty plain looking as well. The stand out feature is the lift top amd the sliding side. The lifting mechanism of the big size works on one size but not the other so when you lift it has to be exactly in the middle or it won't go up. The holes don't align so putting the sliding devices on is difficult and may damage it. This is good for a starter apartment or something but overall wouldn't expect this to last long.

The Coffee table itself was not very easy to put together, you really have to pay attention to the instructions and always double read the section you are on, follow it step by step. After I was finished I was very pleased with the outcome of it though. I love the height of it and the extending top is amazing. The inside has so much storage it really help with hold all of our controllers and mail. This coffee table is very sturdy and can hold a decent amount of weight so I don't have to worry about it collapsing if my kids get a little to crazy in the living room. It really is very nicely made and very nice to look at.

The lift top coffee table with hidden storage (ASIN: B0C2YWXRY6) is sturdy and rigid. The parts, when assembled properly, make a strong, functional system. I am happy with the finished product. Do note that due to the functionality of this coffee table with the lift top, it is a little taller than most coffee tables at 22” with it closed up. The small coaster wheels are metal on metal. They are loud when moving the table across a tile floor, and they do not handle grout lines well (they get stuck in them). For the most part the printed instructions provided in the box are good. However, there are two main sections that are just plan ambiguous when details are required. Do it wrong and you have to dissemble the parts and reassemble them correctly. Step 1 is one of these where the illustration and the words do not provide required information. This verbiage should have been included: “Ensure that the off-center, predrilled holes in top side of each of the four metal sections making up the rectangular frame of the coffee table are to the exterior edge.” If you see that any of the top holes are towards the interior of the frame, rearrange that part to place the holes to the outside edge of the table. Step 8 also failed to provide needed information. There are two assembly activities in Step 8. The 1st is where part 9 is upside down and parts M & Q are being attached. As the orientation of the parts are shown in the illustration, ensure that the predrilled holes in part 9 are about 2” from the edge on the right side of the part. On the left side of part 9 the predrilled holes are 1” from the edge. See the photo of the illustration with my hand written marks. Do it backwards and you get to redo it. Note that the second half of Step 9 is where I needed the assistance of another person. Everything else I easily accomplished solo. Here two people are required. Last observation is that the manufacturer used an excessively aggressive adhesive on the stickers that identify the parts, AND the paper of the sticker is fragile, being easy to tear. This means that the sticker shreds as one is attempting to remove it. No fun. Until the manufacture corrects this, and it is very easy to spec. a different type label, consider removing the part’s sticker as you assemble them, but still easy to reach. Once everything is assembled, some are very difficult to reach and get all of the sticker and adhesive scratched off.

I have been looking for a better coffee table to fit our space and this looks so much better. We live in a 2 bedroom condo so bigger furniture really takes up a lot of space. This is the perfect fit and I love the extra storage - we definitely need it! I also work from home, so it’s nice to be able to lift the table and use it as a desk at times or have a snack while we are watching a movie! My husband put this together and the instructions were a little confusing, but he figured it out in the end and it looks great. This is a nice quality table and great for the price. I love the modern look and color!

overall this is a really nice piece of furniture. It was fairly easy to put it together. i think it took my half an hour to do by myself. You really need to be careful when lifting the table part of the stand. you need to lift it evenly on both ends, or it gets stuck and then you worry it's going to break the table. the sliding side of the table works well, as long as you don't use the rubber corner guards. if you put the guards on the corners of the table then it stops the sliding part of the stand from opening. other than that it looks nice, and seems rather sturdy.

The instructions were a huge hassle. Some of the pieces in the instructions were reversed or completely different. The table has a hydraulic? cylinders that get in the way of tiny screws. When assembled, it did not line up very nicely. But without paying attention to the fine details, it is an overall nice table with storage inside.
