Bought one pair from this brand in Pea Green size 20/22..... it's as advertised = 100% cotton.... Perfect! Just how I like it. Will order another colour to replace the pair I'm sending back (different brand that turned out to be polyester). Sizing is just right, as expected. The inseam was longer than 9", more like 10" - fall just below the knees, a bit too long for my liking, but then again I'm short, so..... Shrank a little after first washing & drying, down to 9" but that's fine, even better for me. Feel quite comfortable, soft as cotton should be, perfect for hot summer. Overall, a good, comfy pair of cotton cargo shorts, if you love cotton clothing, especially for summer time, this is the one to have.

At 5'10" and 161 lbs, I gained weight and knew I couldn't fit in mediums while losing the 20 I had agained for my vacation in Truckee with 4 girlfriends in two weeks. So, per the reviews about them running very small, I ordered the 16-18 AND the 22-24 together. The latter was way, way too big all over, and the 16-18 just too big, but the 12-14 hadn't been available to order. When it became available a day after receiving the original two—I had returned the 22-24 but kept the 16-18 just in case because they were very well made, with great strong fabric and stitching and additionally well designed—when the 12-14 came, it fit perfectly around bottom and thighs and was a tiny bit loose around my waist. Last checked, I think I have a 33" and a 44" hips. I bought the black with camo, and again, they are beautifully made. Lots of sturdy pockets with velcro covers, and because it's not slinky material, it feels safe for my trusty android11 in the front thigh pocket. No times to do pics before vacation, but I'm returning the 16-18 back, and so grateful the 12-14 came faithfully 2 days after I ordered it. I am one happy Sista' off to see my friends on Monday. These are truly acceptional, and bar that I haven't worn them or washed them yet, I would definitely recommend!

I was born with thunder thighs - no matter if I weigh 120 or upto 240. Its not easy to find pants that fit my thighs, which once equaled my 23" waist, especially these days. These shorts are comfy, have great pockets that safely holds my iPhone, wallet, cosmetics, small hairbrush, and meds, all without causing noticeable bulges. I wasn't sure what size to get, since I'm in a wheelchair and it's very difficult to stand on a scale or properly measure my waist and hips. With that said, plus after reading the various reviews saying they run small, I purchased a size 24. I could easily fit into a 20 or 18, but kept the 24's in case it shrinks if a caregiver puts them in the dryer on normal, instead of air drying. Also, I have Crohn's which causing my waist to balloon up a size or 2. Now I can pack just 1 size instead of 2 different sizes when traveling, the elastic and drawstring waist can be adjusted if needed. Although I HATE the need for ironing after washing them, I love them on so many levels I bought another pair in black. I have received so many compliments, they are prefect in 110 degrees or 60's, and I really enjoy how easy it is dress it up or go casual, Only complaints is the wrinkles.

I've been looking for cotton shorts that don't fit so tight in the crotch as so many women's shorts do today... and functional with pockets! These shorts are very comfy... nice deep pockets... great for camping, hiking or just lounging around a bonfire.

These shorts are strange because the elastic is tight in the waist, but they fit fine everywhere else! That is the reason for 4 starts instead of 5. If there is a larger size, I would have ordered that size. I like my shorts to fit loosely. I love that they are COTTON which I prefer over all the weird non breathable materials clothing seems to be made out of these days. In order to wear them now instead of going through the whole return process, I’ll make a small cut on the back inside waistband and cut the elastic. These shorts have great ties, so I can make these work, lol! My suggestion would be ORDER A SIZE LARGER THAN NORMAL. They have great pockets and there’s a band to use to pull the deeper pockets open. I didn’t notice when I ordered this pair of shorts, there are two small designs on the RIGHT band only (to pull up to open the larger pocket) of a two heartbeats and two heart that are sewn on! I thought that was a nice touch! There are two other colors these shorts are available in that I would like to order, so I’m going to check what larger, if any, sizes these shorts are available in.
