It does keep my baby asleep a little longer than without it. It's a little noisy when it moves, just a little. It has great features for the price you pay. It's definitely worth a try for your baby if they need help staying asleep.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this bassinet as a baby gift for my baby and I absolutely love this bassinet and it has so many extra features! The rocking of this bassinet is not the traditional drastic rocking, that's crazy! It is a more gentle rocking like our arms. This is more than enough for my baby.The cosleeping design of the crib allows me to see my baby closer when I'm lying in bed without having to move the crib very far away from the bed. I did really like this until he started to roll over some. He nudged and scoots himself to the side that has the opening on the side. The problem is this side does not have mesh…the opposite side does but not this one. Why is that? Seeing it now makes zero sense. We are afraid to continue to use this at this point. Something so silly in the design makes it no longer usable. You used mesh on one side lol why not the other… ... show more

This VaVaSoo Rocking Bassinet is every parent's dream bassinet. The bassinet is remote controlled and there is a selection between two rocking speeds (both suitable for an infant). The music has five different tunes and three nature sounds. On full volume the sound is low enough to not wake, startle or injure the babies delicate ears. The bassinet has ten different height adjustments to make the bed accessible to the parent's bed. The side that faces the parent's bed unzips and folds down for easy access to the baby. The bassinet is mounted on four casters that each have a locking brake. The company supplies two heavy straps with buckles that hook to the bassinet and then are placed under the parent's bed so that the bassinet cannot move. There is a supplied battery for the remote, power cord and power adapter. The music is very soothing, and the rocking feature will make both the parents and baby very content and happy. After assembling the bassinet I was amazed at the clean, sleek look. The netting is straight, zippers great quality, fold-down area is square and precise. Let me just say that I LOVE this bassinet. I've had a couple of other ones but this one is by far my favorite. This went together relatively easy and is pretty sturdy so no worries about the quality of the product so far. I really like the height adjustments that can be made with this so that it will fit the height of basically any bed. It also has music and sounds that can play which is a nice little feature that helps to hide the sound of the rocking. As for the rocking, it's nice and gentle and just seems to soothe my little fellow down so he can sleep. Plus you have the convenience of having the crib right there beside the bed if you need to check on them. Love this product and would highly recommend it to others! ... show more

I like the auto rocking feature of this bassinet. It comes in handy when you are tired or if you have a fussy baby. The fold down zippered panel makes putting the baby in and out a breeze. There are also some melodies that it can play.
