Instructions are pictures if you can follow directions that way then you will not have a problem.. I was able to buid it all on my own. Only two sets of screw sizes. So it's not complicated at all. And it comes with the L tool to screw them in. It won't take longer than 30 minutes tops. My TV is a 65" curve TV and I think this piece of furniture it's a good size for that size of TV. I bought the 70.1 inch TV stand. For some reason I thought it would be a bit larger. It's short, closer to the floor. The reason why I gave this a 5 star it's not so much due to the furniture it's due to the company. The first shipment arrived and the boards were broken. Looked like when water is left on the type of compressed wood where it raises up. It arrived defective and they sent me another one with the promise to send the other one back within a certain time. I think I would like this more if it came with a back board to hide the back wires. The bottom"metal" part is flimsy. It's kinda thin easily bents. Definitely don't place heavy things. It's not a heavy piece of furniture at all. I don't plan on using water to clean this but I don't trust it's water resistant and it does seem delicate enough to get scratches easily. The color is beautiful, rustic brown. Things I'd change would be the bottom metal shelf I'd keep another set of "wood" shelf and a backboard. I don't think the bottom metal is what makes this look rustic at all. If anything I'd say the metal legs and reinforcement on the sides (X) is what allows allows it to go by rustic. If I were to rate it by the quality and sturdiness I'd give it a 4 star but the company values their customers so definitely a 5 star for that. ... show more

I realize that this is more a functional item than a family heirloom, and I had that in mind when I purchased this shelf. I was looking for something the right size and shape to fit under our wall-mounted television that could hold all of our geegaws and doodads with plenty of room. Previously we had a hope chest type of thing that didn't really fit great and was most significantly too deep, so it stuck out from the wall more than I wanted. The dimensions of this stand seemed ideal and I liked the sturdy construction - the last thing I wanted to get was something entirely made from particle board that would warp. It arrived in a big old box (sorry, USPS delivery guy) and came fully intact as it was packed securely. Assembly wasn't too bad; the necessary hex wrench was included, the instructions were clear enough and could be executed by one person. The fully assembled item is solid but lightweight enough to be moved around easily. So let's talk about how it looks. First, the dimensions are perfect - it's not too high, but high enough that it has two shelves underneath. The 63" length looks perfect under our television, and it has plenty of shelf space while still staying low-profile to the wall. The construction is nice - I like the black iron look in the frame, and though I am not a huge fan of the big bolt ends showing on the outside, they're not super noticeable and probably just me being nitpicky. The top and the middle shelf are laminate, and honestly not that nice to look at. They're very shiny and look fake. I think they would be a lot better with a less busy wood grain print, and a more buff finish. That's the one real detractor from this piece, and my least favorite thing. Since this is the right size and very sturdy, we're going to get a nice piece of wood to cover the top, one that's slightly bigger so it looks like a standard tabletop, and stain it ourselves. The shelves are fine as is, if it looks really weird I can just paint them black. My cat really wanted me to show her off, so have a couple of pictures. You can see we've got all of our game consoles and charging stations, router, an extra laptop, even a speaker up and out of the way with plenty of room to spare. Our previous arrangement was a mess so this is a lot more organized. ... show more
