    • Nicer than I expected for the price.
It was under 100 bucks so I thought it would be good for a temporary coffee table until I have the time to go find a nice one, but man, it’s actually pretty nice, and it looks good. I’m keeping it. Thought it would be particle board but it’s actually plywood with veneer glued over, so it has the strength of real wood. Looks more expensive than what it was. Feels heavier and more expensive than you’d expect. This is a real review I’m no bot, I’m just really happy with it. Wasn’t a huge gamble I thing I got it for like 79 bucks or something, again, I was just buying a temporary. Exceeded my expectations. ... show more

I'm not a big reviewer, but this table is a pleasant surprise and kind of deserves it. It is really easy to assemble, and all the components are clearly labeled. Simple, easy to follow instructions with diagrams. I put this together in roughly 20 minutes. It is quite good looking, and the veneer looks very much like real wood. I chose the brown color, which resembles knotty wood. It looks nice. It's sturdy enough, but I wouldn't recommend sitting on it or using it as a jumping-off point by a child (which is how my last table ended up destroyed). My only complaint would be that the wood grain-looking stickers that they give for covering up the screws aren't super sticky and they look very obviously like a sticker. Overall, I'm pleased. I also bought the TV stand, but haven't put that together yet. ... show more

I made a note of all the additional VASAGLE products because this coffee table is exceptionally nice! Very easy to assemble, all the pre-drilled holes were exactly correct (assembly took about 15 minutes) and it just looks incredible - rich, dark wood grain, very retro style and perfect for setting up a couple of laptops to work from home on the couch! I'll be adding some of VASAGLE's bookcases soon!! ... show more

Love love love this coffee table. So simple to put together, looks high end, and its sturdy. Perfect size to go in front of the sofa. If I were to be minorly nitpicky I do wish it came with covers for where you can see the screws - but really its not a huge deal. Its such a nice piece.

I don’t understand how there are no other reviews that had difficulty assembling this product. There are two steps at the end that are nearly physically impossible to perform. Step 10 has you screw the bottom half of the hinges to the table, ignoring that the top half of the hinge blocks access with a screwdriver. And step 11 has you hold the heavy tabletop in midair while you reach in and under the top, thread a tiny screw through three holes, while also holding bolts on the other side. And the topper is that the two hinges operate independently of each other, so if you want to avoid tearing through the fragile wood when you open it, you have to carefully lift on either side with the same level of pressure. This literally took about one episode of Dragon Ball Z to put together, without instructions. Its freaking beautiful. To the untrained eye, or at a distance, it looks like 100% real wood. I would never guess that particle board in any form could be this high quality. Really sturdy too! The only issue I can see, is that they include these little "stickers" to go over the screw holes, but they don't exactly match the grain of wood for a given spot, and they're pretty thick, so they're pretty obvious. But if you have things stored inside, you probably won't notice at all. ... show more
