Looked exactly like the picture cru solid for how inexpensive it was. I really like the fact that there is extra storage. The only thing I’d say is opening up the gotten storage it springs open quickly. And u have to be carefully closing it back up cause it can be uneven . Overall great buy!

    • Feels solid but hard to maneuver

Overall looks great and feels really solid. Assembly was straight forward but probably not a one man job. To install the top piece you need someone (or two in my case) to hold the top while someone else screws it in. We did struggle a bit with that last part but eventually managed. I’ve seen a lot of cheaper lift top table have the issue where if you try to lift it from one side instead of directly in the middle, it will awkwardly lift that one side only. This doesn’t have that issue, however, the spring on this is really tight. We have to physically step on the table to hold it in place to lift or to close it, otherwise we end up just pushing/pulling the table itself instead. Not a HUGE issue for us since we don’t open or close super often, but does get annoying. Hopefully it loosens a bit over time ... show more

This table is absolutely awesome. It really wasn’t that hard to put together, but I spilled to drink on it and by the time I got the paper towels, it started to bubble along the table, so don’t get it wet.

    • When you put the springs on you need to push the springs ahead to put in a screw.

This is an incredible coffee table. Very attractive for this type of steel and wood design which is what I was looking for. It is very well constructed and easy to assemble in a few minutes. I needed something very sturdy with no wobble and this design exceeded my needs. One can infer this from the weight allowances listed in the desciption and I can definitely attest to this. It is also very well packed. The outer box had a number of minor tears and dents but everything inside was pristine. I did an exhaustive search, narrowing down from about 15 options to this one. The steel legs do not budge and are extremely sturdy. The wood surface is very heavy and solid. This price was also excellent with the 15% off coupon on Amazon.
