Looks great in my son's gamer room and he loves to display all of his collectibles. Very nice quality with a high quality finish, not just cheap mdf. Assembly was easy peasy. I imagine installing in a newer home would be a breeze, however if you have a historic home like ours, be aware it will need some finess to get it mounted nicely in an uneven corner. My intention was to use the shelf “as is”. Assembly was easy for me as a skilling furniture maker. However I can sympathize with other reviewers who had difficulty with the assembly process. Relax and take it one step at a time and be sure to have someone who has strong fingers to use the little Allen wrench. I was not happy with the finish, though it was nicely antiqued and well photographed (and perfectly suitable for most users). It was just too dark for where I needed to put it. The shelf was to be hidden behind a door that is open 80% of the time when my grandchildren visit. When not here the door remains closed. When closed the hallway looks bleak. Hence, the dark finish looked even bleaker. So, I painted the shelf with a lighter brown acrylic paint giving it a natural wood grain appearance. So, you CAN paint over the factory finish using simple painting materials and skill if you want to change the color. But, an acrylic paint might lift if water is used to clean it. Nice design. Well made. I’ll likely buy again. I have more corners to fill! ... show more

I needed a corner shelf and something to put my Hallmark angel collection on. This is perfect! And easy to assemble, even for those challenged by directions (I do better with visual samples vs just written) I eventually will get another set to make it go closer to floor, but this worked out better than I thought! Got this product for my teen daughter. My rating is 5 stars her is only 4 because she said that not enough space to put many stuff lol kids. Other then that I really like it. Its nice made and is very sturdy.

Really good for the money. The only thing is if you buy 2 of them (one for each corner) make sure you make the second one a mirror of the first. Otherwise you’ll end up with two of the same it won’t look good. I had to redo it about two times because I didn’t think it through before. Hopefully you understand what I’m saying ... show more

The instructions were clear and each piece came labeled. Easy to put together and once you have the holes lined up it was easy to get mounted. Looks very nice and doesn’t take up space like a regular bookshelf. It holds a lot less books than a regular bookshelf though. Most of my books were too tall to stand upright so they will just be laying horizontally on the ledges. It still looks nice and works well for our needs. ... show more
