Bought 2, will probably buy 2 more. Assembly takes time but is easy to understand, over an hour for one if you dont have a drill. Will go slower if you have weak hands. You need a Phillips head screwdriver. It doesn't come with one like some other brands but they do include extra other small parts which is nice. Try to have a small hammer or mallet ready, it helps too. Instructions are easy enough. Like other furniture one builds, make sure each +/- screw turns fully and locks into its counterpart, and double check at end of job. My stickers (to cover screws) were dry for both orders and came off and they were great and sent me new ones. ( I don't happen to have glue here or I would have lightly reglued them like a stamp). Includes a hooking device to attach to wall so it likeky won't fall if a kid pulls it. Came on time. No damage, packed securely. Good price. Good customer service. ... show more

This has been in my sons room for almost 3 years now, it has held toys, been climbed on, moved to another house, and it is somehow still in one piece unlike most of these little shelves. If for some reason it does ever break I will like buy another one.

the only negative things i can say about it is that building it is a bit silly as they have you balance half of the structure on one little particle board while building it until you finally put the sides on, but once theyre on, its very stable. other than that, the little white screw covers do not stay on in the slightest bit. we decided to hot glue them into place and no problems since. its a great little bookshelf for the money and i would purchase again! This was so easy to put together. I love the longer shelf in the middle for books. It is very sturdy but we still anchored it to the wall. It holds way more than I thought it would. I set mine up upside down to sure the top as a shelf for extra toys my daughter doesn’t ask for every day.

Some reviews were saying it was hard to put together or was cheap and flimsy. I mean, don't expect Art Van level stuff for $80. I got this for my toddler son's bedroom and it seems sturdier than most shelves I have built with all the hardware. I don't think I will have any issues. I also did not think it was hard to assemble.
